How long has Letitia Dean been away from the soap? Must be at least 6 months by now?

She disappeared at the time of Martin’s funeral, so went off screen in the Spring, it seemed really out of character for Sharon not to be there.
I think at first it was said she’d gone to stay with Jada and then suddenly she was in Australia with Michelle.

It's weird because he has had parts on some other high profile shows too, so is obviously well regarded as an actor. Think he was on Slow Horses and see him on a lot of other dramas.

Will Joel find out about Avani's pregnancy ?
Will he be very much "Well you got pregnant your fault "? I cannot see him stepping up like Ricky (who has vanished off the face of the earth but at least has contact and parenting time with his daughter )
Does Joel still have he video of him and Avani ? Like a serial killer keeping a "trophy" ? Wtill Ross or Vicki see this and twig ?

Or , as this is Eastenders , will Ravi twig that Avani is pregnant (more likely to be Priya who guesses though) , go storming off round to confront Barney who will be all flustered like a deer in headlights which Ravi will see as an admission of guilt . He'll beat up Barney . Teddy, Nic and Harry will beat up Ravi . Avani will scream Noooo it;s not Barney it's Joel . They'll all storm mob handed round to Joel's house . Ross will defend his son. Tommy will get embroiled in it . Kat will launch in .
Someone gets killed . ....maybe Alfie ?

Or Eve and Avani could go off somewhere for six months and come back with the baby .

I wonder who, but my guess is it won’t be any big characters. Maybe a random person or a school stabbing for some thing equally horrible.

Jean needs to move on re Harv, but I guess it is realistic in a way because someone like Jean would bear a grudge and be bitter plus he lives across the road and drinks in the pub and she can’t just not see him, so makes it all worse. The others all happily live close to their ex’s and seem to deal with it and even be friends ( like Phil, who has many ex’s around who don’t mind seeing him about ) but Jean isn’t like them.
She needs to find a nice new partner , Daniel was so good with her.

I usually like Jean but she is in a really annoying phase. So is Kim, so is Howie ... so many characters behaving oddly for plot reasons.

Where has 'Joel kills someone at Halloween' come from? Is it speculation, I can't find anything about that.

I've just been reading about Ben's return for Jonno's funeral 'on day release'. So a prisoner in the USA gets flown over to the UK for the funeral of the father in law he barely knew. I suppose it's no less likely than some of the tosh EE are producing a the moment.

That’s fan speculation about Joel killing someone at Halloween. But I wonder where the writers are going with his story. Stacey reports him next week for leaking the secret cam pics of her but I think he’ll get away with it. Vicky gives him a bollocking and apparently his response is “shocking”,

What I don't get is why is Stacey's Secret Cam account still live? Surely she should have deleted it ages ago after all that Theo fiasco?!?

I hope Tommy starts to see Joel for who he really is when he finds out, as Stacey is his mum afterall.

EE feels different since the new producer took over.
Characters acting out of character etc, but I did like the montage they did once of the market and he has culled a few people.
I hope that Joel doesn’t kill anyone or they don’t try to do an Adolescent type storyline with him ( the Netflix drama that was on a few months ago) but he could carry it off to be fair to the actor, but it’s just a grim story and more deaths :(

Why didn’t Stacey delete her account, but I guess that nothing is ever deleted from the internet ( so I’m told) and he knew a way around it or he just got lucky and she didn’t take it down or couldn’t do it herself ? My tech knowledge is very scant so sorry if this is all rubbish, but he has managed to see it.

If its anything like the storyline Hollyoaks did Joel will end up found out by everyone, go on a rampage, taking some woman/women hostage and some big character will end up harmed but possibly not life threatened in the process. Then he will either go to prison or get shot down off armed response, never to be spoken of again and all will be forgotten 🤦🏽‍♀️.

A realistic story for Joel would be his escalation to sexual assault. Given that Kathy had a rape storyline (Wilmott-Brown) in the 80s this is not unrealistic or too much for evening viewing.

Joel has the deeply ingrained sense of misogynistic male entitlement common to sex offenders and increasingly prevalent in society now . He is played by a brilliant actor who can carry the weight of this storyline.

He has already sexually assaulted someone (the woman on the tube Vicky paid off). I don’t want any more sexual assaults stories in EE, at least for a long time, they do too many.
