I think they were in Piran - that's what the ticket said and having googled it's a small town on the coast in Slovenia.

It is Piran, I’ve been there. On Slovenia’s tiny Adriatic coastline!

There was a Slovenian flag flying in an early shot. Was Daren maybe at Slovenia's only bit of coast?

I'm still alarmed at entering a supposedly geography based quiz and not knowing much about European geography.

It’s stunning - we had drinks and freshly caught seafood in a restaurant just off the little harbour. Slovenia is a lovely country generally - lakes Bled and Bohinj are utterly gorgeous.

Rob did start off saying the final destination is a city built on marshland. I googled Ljubljana and that's built on marshland. I'm hoping San Marino is a red herring.
