Anyone planning on watching this?

Rob Brydon hosts as contestants are driven around Europe in a blacked out bus, trying to guess where they are. I’ve seen clips of the US Version, it might be good!

Is next week the end ?

boysmuminherts · 20/08/2025 23:18

Pretty sure Judith's gold card was only for tonight. May have misunderstood that. Gutted to see Nick leave.

flightoftheconkers · 20/08/2025 23:21

I wanted Nick to stay in and when he said he would set up a dog sanctuary with his winnings....aaahh, bless. I don't want Josh or Saskia to win but not sure who I'm rooting for now out of the other three.

stickybear · 20/08/2025 23:38

Real shame that Nick went out, especially as he figured out the Pula clue so early on. I hope Judith wins now as she seems a genuinely lovely person and I really felt for her when she was being left out of the various alliances earlier in the series.

Plasticwaste · 21/08/2025 01:30

Why so many shots of Dubrovnik? It makes it kinda obvious that we're not in Italy any longer.

Why did they all suddenly start mentioning Pula near the end when it hadn't been brought up in convo before? Had never heard of Pula but was really overthinking that wrong crowd clue, with anagrams and all sorts.

Sad for Nick. I think Judith's group is going to be disadvantaged now because he seemed more willing than the others to share information as well as being a bit of a leader type, as much as he was probably tiresome to live with.

I really thought Judith would have spoken to Claire after the challenge and told her about the gold card, that way she could have volunteered herself or even given it to Nick so they could get out one of Josh or Saskia for sure. It would have changed the game massively in her favour than what's happened now. I suppose she still has it for later but I think it'll be more of a struggle from now on and that getting Nick out is the game's turning point.

Doingmybest12 · 21/08/2025 07:44

I thought Saskia mentioned Pula before the diary room, then seemed to forget it unless that was editing to make Nick's exit more of a surprise. I quite like Saskia and agreed with Nick's woe is me approach being grating (although a bit over the top about it) i think it's quite funny ex police lady realised they'd got rid of the main person who seemed to work things out and know what's going on. Not bothered who wins at this point.

TwinklyBird · 21/08/2025 07:47

Nick leaving will be a turning point but it is a shame because he was good and playing the game well.
It was obvious he was going from the moment the dog sanctuary was mentioned, and he had so much more air time this week.

Tonight’s episode really showed up how dumb the games are. Judith had the golden x card, but she didn’t need it anyway because Claire wouldn’t have picked her.

Claire chose to disadvantage another player, but got told the advantage and won the game anyway (and probably could have won without the advantage anyway).

Briantheguitargod · 21/08/2025 07:55

i was starting to like nick, so shame he went, they will miss him as he was the only one who had a clue.
I wish it had been josh or saskia , they are a mean team. but maybe they are just playing the game well. only one person can win.

NCTDN · 21/08/2025 08:02

I think that Judith was told she couldn’t tell anyone about her safe card?

Pl242 · 21/08/2025 08:28

You’d think at some point they might bring into play who has placed their x closest to the location? And see who’s been closest in total? It would be good to bring in stuff re who has actually been good at playing the actual point of the show - guessing where they are vs stupid stuff like carrying trays?

I liked Nick. Shame he’s gone. Was deserving of his place.

Tourist29 · 21/08/2025 08:44

The advantage was to see list of colours which helped no one. The string of colours was so long everyone was just guessing (or could copy other levers) after the first round. Completely random that Claire won and was given a massive advantage.

As an elite level athlete the lack of exercise would have been very difficult on Nick both physically and mentally. He showed great restraint with Saskia, I hope she doesn’t win but I’m getting a similar vibe to Leanne in Traitors.

LIZS · 21/08/2025 08:45

I don’t remember them telling Nick his x had been moved from Venice, but he seemed to know. I guess the information he gave about wanting to set up a dog refuge was a clue that he would go. Noone else seems to have had such an opportunity to expand on their background and hopes for the cash.

InMyOpenOnion · 21/08/2025 08:47

NCTDN · 21/08/2025 08:02

I think that Judith was told she couldn’t tell anyone about her safe card?

I also thought it said the card was only valid for the next map room and that she could give it to another player, but maybe I've got that wrong? I was expecting her to give it to Nick, thereby forcing a break up of the Josh/Saskia alliance.

Piknik · 21/08/2025 08:53

So gutted Nick went. He was the only one playing properly. Everyone else is more worried about loyalties/betrayals/what they share/don't share than trying to solve clues. I wanted him to win.

A half hearted Judith for the win now I think.

I really liked Claire but she annoyed me in the police station. Judith seemed genuinely out of sorts and she was being a bit of a twat and a know-it-all saying things like. "You're in a cell, of course the windows don't open" - no they weren't in a cell. And "you're in custody, of course you can't do that". They were not in custody.

Saskia is proper mean girl. Really dislike her but she did guess Pula which was good guesswork. I assume she shared that with Josh. I think she shares more with him than vice-versa.

Daren is just coasting

ChoccyJules · 21/08/2025 09:00

Yeah I was surprised Claire didn’t reassure Judith more at the false police station. She was quite distressed even though it was obvious to us it wasn’t a real stop.

She got penalised for it when Rob took away one of her lives in the colour memory game.

Yeah I was surprised Claire didn’t reassure Judith more at the false police station. She was quite distressed even though it was obvious to us it wasn’t a real stop.

I was annoyed at that too. Claire is old enough and has enough life experience to see through the situation. Judith is young and needed some reassurance.

I think the clues were very lacking. Three posters of people, and only one of them is, kind of, Croatian. I can’t be the only person who had never heard of Pula? The same visual clue of the Colosseum repeatedly and the ‘Paul’ clue. Other stuff like the writing of ‘police’ on the cars and the language spoken by the officials was just vague.

ChompandaGrazia · 21/08/2025 12:45

TheFifthTellytubby · 21/08/2025 10:12

That was for telling Claire the colours.

TheFifthTellytubby · 21/08/2025 12:48

ChompandaGrazia · 21/08/2025 12:45

That was for telling Claire the colours.

Ah, yes of course - getting so confused with all the different elements! So can she use the safe card for another round? Seems a bit pointless otherwise.

Yamyamabroad · 21/08/2025 13:03

I think we ( the game) are being set up for a Saskia/Josh show down in the final where Saskia will be devastated when Josh deliberately deceives her to win the prize. Very Traitors

Piggywaspushed · 21/08/2025 13:07

I'm guessing Croatia is so thin and small that guessing Croatia was enough. I assume Nick put his X on Italy.

ExtraOnions · 21/08/2025 13:39

Judith could just have said “put me in the diary room” did not need to disclose why

ChompandaGrazia · 21/08/2025 13:55

Piggywaspushed · 21/08/2025 13:07

A quick rough check shows that Pula is closer to Rome, as the crow flies, than it is to Dubrovnik or possibly Split.

placemats · 21/08/2025 14:01

Not happy with Claire or Daren because they obviously want to win and are throwing Judith under the bus.

I think Judith is a standalone now.
