Thought I’d sound the KLAXON and round everyone up for some Strictly chat about possible/rumoured contestants. They usually start announcing soon!

I’ve heard Dani Dyer, Stacey Solomon, Ashley Cain and Tom Parker Bowles

Expecting a first announcement any day

His solicitors brought this up in March as not just him has mentioned it apparently.
I think the tabloids have been sitting on it until Strictly season was back.
Also thought it was pros being mentioned not slebs. Which makes the two new hires interesting timing. But also saddens me in terms of potentially casting a shadow over/speculation over who is benched.
The tabloids were fed stories this year but not sure by whom: Jamie's disablist comments, Jamie cheating on his gf with Jowita and now this. Pete was allegedly blocked by Wynne on social media according to other fora, as he was concerned for both Jamie and Jowita.
Wynne, by his own admission, is in touch with no one from the show anymore.
He now claims the show was magical for a day before being told "Trust no one, not even me " People who think, as this was supposedly day one, and potentially came from a pro - this could have been his partner say it has been misinterpreted and referred to dance/saying when you weren't comfortable with a move rather than anything more nefarious. Wynne has said he will and would never criticise Katya but more sharp-eyed followers claim he has previously liked some comments made against her on insta.
Why all now? Because we're about to start doing the announcements and pairings so more click bait for the red tops.

I hope Katya gets a good celeb this year so she can show off her prowess instead of comedy contestants with wandering hands.

Well, look, I'm not going to start casting aspersions or promote drug taking (I'm an 😇 me, who's never dabbled) but coke and fame isn't anything new (Richard Bacon, anyone?) so I can think of a couple of candidates tbf pros and/or slebs, where it wouldn't surprise me particularly.

All this talk of coke is making me miss Bruno and his mid-season rest fortnight where he'd recuperate from the rigours of appearing simultaneously on two transatlantic primetime shows by attending LA pool parties with a bunch of twenty-something model-cum-waiters. No kale and mindfulness for Bruno.

The papers were linking them/claiming a fling I think from January onwards. Doesn't make it true but, as with the Blackpool slurs he allegedly came out with, it means some source was happy to chuck him under the bus.
Jamie's ex Chloe claimed he had cheated from the previous August and on tour. She never named names though. One reason she dumped his ass was him waving around a sex toy Wynne had sent him, which ended up on a Strictly Group WhatsApp chat. Allegedly.

My point being Wynne, I think, feels chucked under the bus by the Beeb and colleagues, when he thinks his infantile sex banter is nothing compared to the bigger stories.
And people on both sides are happy to chuck each other under the bus when it comes to deflection.

This with the Torode and Wallace stuff just makes me think that the celebrity world is just full of people who would sell their granny for 5 minutes onscreen. A really toxic game amongst the lower tiers.

I have to be honest, what has Torode actually done? I read somewhere that he was singing Kanye West's Golddigger, but instead of singing broke-de-broke like the Automatic cover, that he sang broke [N word] like Kanye does.
Is that all he did, years and years ago when that song was a hit? Because it is a stupid thing to have done but it isn't pitchfork worthy.

Aw scrap that - wasn't years ago, was directed at someone allegedly and was one of nine complaints against him.

BBC should just have all their investigations transparent and available for all to read.
