Felt for him a bit tbh as Brian said he'd been asked and said no to it and James (Norton) squirmed when asked if he'd ever consider it, and tactfully said he was busy for this year.
I'm a sucker for puppy-eyes, so could get behind Lewis. He was pushed by Brian on whether he had any inkling/when was he asked and he claimed first call was Monday and confirmed last couple of days.
The inference was out the blue rather than previous talks. That's bewildering as I thought they always had a confirmed reserve list 🤷🏼‍♀️

It's a real shame about Kristian. I'd never heard of him but he seemed a genuinely interesting prospect and I had him down for a very rugged same-sex partnership with Kai (who is due a good, or at least headline-grabbing, year). Never heard of Lewis but he seems pretty, ringer-y and much more standard fare.

I can't imagine Lewis will get the same pro who was allotted to Kristian so I bet someone is gutted right now.
