Thought I’d sound the KLAXON and round everyone up for some Strictly chat about possible/rumoured contestants. They usually start announcing soon!

Coronavirus put paid to his last huzzah - he didn't feel it would be in good taste to mock the lockdown series, when all were doing their best

Have to say, it's one of the few things I would have been happy to subscribe to and pay for. I still look at some of his old blogs even now if I need a quick cheer me up or to recount something Strictly related. He had such a way with words, and the safety sex faces and the ignoring Bruno in the final, he used to have me in stitches. Now I occasionally look for breadcrumbs on Digital Spy but will always adore the blog: he got me through some dark Winters. Awesome dude.

Has anyone watched Jason Mraz’s performances on DWTS ? Some great routines. Also, Rumer Willis. Available on YouTube

Loved Rumer, one of my favourite contestants.
She was spurned by Val, though, even after getting a dancer tattoo, the cad!
Jason was decent but danced to two of his own songs! Daniella, his pro, is amazing. She has done some stunning choreo on that show.

Gorka doesn't have a celeb partner, which is a shame as I was hoping he would get to the final again after a couple of disappointing years. Strictly is clashing with his stint as a judge on the Spanish version and so he can't commit to a full series. Bet being a judge pays more for a lot less work than being a pro.

Gorka is at rehearsals when is the spainish version on ?

Oh I have just seen Gorkas instagram so he will film the group dances then go to Spain for his judging job fair play to him

Just read Gorka’s announcement- I wonder if he chose this direction or did he feel the wind blowing in a particular way for him and decided to take control of his future rather than be pushed? He’s been doing Strictly for a long time now.

Oh, sad to see Gorkha's news. When he's good he's very very good. Though when he has a bad partner he's horrid.😉

They are definitely later this year. There’s a music festival that I have been to several times always this weekend, and they have always started announcing celebs by then and i get notifications of announcements when I’m there
