I do wish Matty had had the balls to go over to Dylan and put a glass of orange juice in his hand. Obviously with alcoholics there are no guarantees, but it might just have made him think twice.

Matty is acting like a stroppy , hormonal teenager .
Ok..Dylan wasn't around for you when growing up ...that is your mums fault , not his .

In any other situation ,..if he saw a recovering alcoholic colleague was about to take a drink /go off the rails ..he would have stepped in and tried to stop it.

Why couldn't he do it for his dad .☹️

It was in the dialogue - "they were arresting someone when we got there, someone doesn't like migrants"

and the dad said something like "I was just mouthing off about migrants living with my kids, I didn't expect him to actually do anything", suggesting one of his mates started the fire.

I've only started watching again after a few years of dipping in and out.

Brenda Fricker (Megan) has died. I didn't realise she was only in Casualty properly for four years. She popped back up multiple times though, I guess.

I have just seen that about Brenda Fricker .
She may have not been a long time cast member , but she certainly made her mark.

Today's episode is so infuriating. Have Rash and Jodie not got mobile phones, text-to-speak software. Why are they only writing one word? This situation is where mobile phone technology can massively help. Aaaarrrgggghhhh

The writing of singular words on the white board was absolutely ridiculous, you’d at least write her a paragraph. She may be deaf but I’m pretty sure she could manage to read more than one word at a time 🙄

I wish they would wrap up this Army storyline now because it is DRAGGING! I want to see Jack get what he deserves but the longer they draw the storyline out the more bored by it I get.

Yes the deaf lady clearly had capacity as long as she understood what was happening, and to understand you had to communicate effectively. That might have happened 40 years back but not in 2026.

the staff often go round with tablets to get results from bloods , X-rays etc….surely they can link one up to WiFi to communicate better with her?!

Yes obviously at the start we thought he was drinking vodka when it was water. I hope seeing his dad makes him cop on to where his future lies.

I didn't understand what advantage it would be to Nicole to destroy the evidence against the property company. Surely it would improve her chances of being able to claim that the facts were seriously misrepresented and her contract should be nullified?

In the recap at the start, I think Nicole was told that if the company continued building, she wouldn't get her deposit back. That sounds a bit simplistic but I think that was why she binned the evidence against them.
