because he thinks he’s protecting Matty. It’s more and likely a trauma response from Dylan because how his own dad treated him.

They're 100% killing Dylan off soon. I'll be devastated.

My favourite episode of Casualty, When the Gloves Come Off, just aired on U - when Sam and Dylan hash out their relationship while trying to save two people who have fallen down a big hole. I did much prefer Dylan back then.

Remind me what you preferred about Dylan back then?

Also they are so not killing Dylan off!!

I've noticed with Dylan he struggles to get his words out when running resus, is that part of the character now or another issue. I've never noticed it before.

It's since he went for his therapy (EMDR? I think, or something like that) but left partway through, meaning that he'd had all the bad memories of his dad dredge up but not finished the work that would presumably make them less powerful. He's now having intrusive thoughts about the past. I think.

It's a blood sugar test.

BM used to be the name of the company that made the paper strips for blood glucose tests. They were then bought out. And now those tests are outdated. But the name stuck. Sometimes they’ll say BG instead. It’s like if you have an X-ray and there is “red dot” typed in the corner. A million years ago we’d put a literal red dot on films that had abnormalities to flag to the doctor. When things went digital people had to type it in. People that haven’t ever red dotted a film still type it out. Or did last time I saw!

I was also screaming ‘nooo!’ to Dylan.

I haven’t noticed that when he’s running resus, but I am used to his speech patterns. He’s always had ‘different’ speech patterns - I have similar one’s too (I’m autistic) and it’s more noticeable when really overwhelmed/stressed ect..

Neither of the people he'd wanted to be there (Stevie and Matty) showed up - we know that Matty eventually did, but I don't think Dylan saw that. I can imagine a feeling of, "fuck it, what's the point if everyone I care about hates me now?".

Yes. It was around the time her ex husband came back on the scene, I think he was dying.

Wasn’t she a police officer and found put about the assisted dying plan? And got beaten up during Jan’s con violent, drug addicted son storylne.

I feel bad about this, but my reaction to seeing Rida's head was to howl laughing. It looked like someone had sewn part of a "bald wig" to her scalp! My head did NOT look like that when my hair fell out in clumps.

Did I miss something about the family who took in migrants whose house was on fire? The story seemed to drop off the radar. Was it the kids dad/ex who started it because he was anti migrants?

I thought Jan's wife left when she found out that she was snuggling in drugs to her son in prison ?
Or did they get back together after that ?

I'm pretty sure they were together after that.
