I was there and had forgotten just who was on. Just remember singing along to most of the tunes, being very hot and sitting on my 6ft4 brothers shoulders at times.

I remember this so well! I was 31 with a 4yr old and 2 yr old. We let them stay up as long as possible so they'd hit the sack quickly and we wouldn't miss any of it! I remember dancing in the sitting room for hours. I wasn't a massive Queen fan at the time - more into Genesis, Dire Straits and The Who but as soon as Queen came on they electrified the place and we were jumping up and down with the telly turned right up! I can't believe 40 years has gone by...
