"I have agreed to arrangements, arrangements even you yourself couldn't live up to!"
I thought this was Carrie alluding to Aidan's infidelity.
Although the whole jealousy thing is confusing because I thought they had both agreed to put the moving in together on hold for five years but still attempt long distance/postcards/phone sex
<not envy/and the odd hook up.
Then when he revealed he had slept with Kathy as a one-off/loneliness/consolation, didn't she say she herself didn't expect to be a nun/involuntarily celibate for five years?
So were they open or not?
If so, it wouldn't really matter if she was doing the dance with Duncan's pipe.
Unless they meant a ONS with rando was fine to itch a scratch/pressing need but anything closer to home off-limits...erm, Kathy?
The writing went delulu or I missed a pivotal scene.
Yes, he was definitely sniffing out the competition but Carrie was also being a bit of a twat in not wanting them to meet/chew the fat
steak /keeping them separate. Also her giving tips on non-fiction. Yeah, right.
And, her house or not, smoke's bloody awful in clothing if you aren't a smoker yourself. She knew he hated cigarettes so not sure why she thought being all over him, smelling of tobacco, was not going to have the opposite effect.
But the break up scene was done well. The present tense (title of episode) have trust issues/was 100% in - am or was?, was clever writing.
Finally, loved all of Carrie's clothes except for the green dirndl. Way too German Volksfest.
