Elaine serves alcohol tomorrow to some of the teens. I haven’t read where this leads to but maybe George will find out and report her?

It’s sad the Knights have split up, but at least it wasn’t because of Cindy completely ( as in having an affair with her) which is where I thought it would go originally.

What the heck have I just watched. What sort of eejit puts a group of teenage boys in charge of kids. Who writes this stuff?

Elaine is dreadful. Serving alcohol to the teens will mean her licence is suspended or revoked, so she's had it. Can't say I'm sorry! Poor Linda.

Linda’s mum has been a publican all her life. Why risk it all giving alcohol away to anyone she is well aware are under age? She just wouldn’t do this! Career suicide.
Seems the writers want her out of the Vic , maybe she’ll have to leave ?

only guessing that George can’t afford to buy Elaine and Linda out so phil buys in but puts Kat in there? I can’t see how else Kat ends up running it? She struggled to buy a clapped out limo. That’s if the Kat running the vic rumours are true.

Phil is running the gym , I was wondering if he’ll pass it over to George to manage , but Sharon would be involved and she isn’t around atm!

@storminabuttercup that what it seems to be leading up to. Kat is having a lot interaction with Phil at the moment.

That is a thought 80s, George could manage the gym. He could buy Phil's half with the cash from the Vic. But I wonder how much longer he will be around, the actor seems to be phoning it in now.

Of course all this will be accomplished in a fortnight, rather than the several months it would take in real life!

There was something a bit ‘mumsnet ‘ when Junior ( or someone ) said that divorce starts off ok and amicable but ends up being nasty.
It seems that Elaine has more woes next week with her health too because of money concerns. All leading to them auctioning off the pub maybe ? 🤔
As mentioned, it’ll all be done in a few days rather than months as it would irl of course.

Looks like Letitia Dean is going to be away for a little while longer. Next week an absent Sharon via Zack threatens to evict Vicki and Ross if they don’t pay back the money Vicki owes her, which leads into Vicki blackmailing Bernie about Bernie cooking the books at the caff.

Why is Bernie doing the caff’s books? Kathy owns it doesn’t she?

I thought Avani and Nugget owned the caff, mystifyingly under the trusteeship of Bernie?

Cathy bought it from Nish for a pound I believe

I thought Suki owned the caff and some other businesses in the square? I don’t think under 18s even when they look 27 can own businesses? It’s all very confusing the Panesar business empire and who owns what, has been since the beginning.

Well whatever the trust property was (that Nish left to the grandchildren with Bernie as trustee) that is where she embezzles I think.

I don’t understand why Nish let Bernie do anything tbh!
Another random storyline

I think the point of leaving Bernie as trustee type thing was because the kids were too young
So she holds the purse strings but they did the weird thing where the kids interviewed Alfie 🤷‍♀️

Kathy definitely owns the cafe!
Maybe they mean the minute mart? It could be miss reported.
I agree the whole Bernie story is weird. Nish did it out of spite but dressed it as some type of justice for Keanu. It's weird because she then disappeared, like may of the characters/storylines recently.
Well I can't see new Vicky sticking around for long if Ravi finds out, she's now not only harbouring the pervert that videoed his daughter but also stealing from his family! Eurgh I hate everything about the Vicky character.
Back to Bernie, I actually feel it's a shame she's leaving. They totally ruined her character, she had potential to be a female Martin. Just your average plod along type.

It's the minit mart which Avani and Nugget own (where Alfie works when he isn't 'in Aus'). I remember the spectacle of Avani and Nugget 'interviewing' Alfie for the job. They must own other things, whatever was left of Nish's empire. Is the pest control business still going? And they own the Slater house. So that is what Bernie is managing. Bernie, financial whizz kid.🙄

Nish sold the cafe back to Kathy for £1 to annoy Suki. I don't think Suki owns anything now. Maybe the house they live in?

I wish soaps would stop with everyone blackmailing everyonelse. It's really boring!

Teddy fire bombed the Panesar’s pest control centre once. It’s not been mentioned since.

Oh yes of course, that was where the fire was. Amazing how they all get away with arson, blackmail, murder!

They get away with it all shelling ! Just a quick word with someone or a policeman who isn’t interested and it’s all brushed under the carpets.
Harry is still upset that Nicola was involved with killing his ex and her unborn child , but she is still around doing ‘half Christmas ‘ nonsense and getting a new hair do. Never any justice for Ken ; probably more I’ve forgotten about !
