I agree that two of the women in last night's programme were baby obsessed.

I often think that I'd love another baby - but know that I don't want another child.

Hatwoman, there's nothing to blush about Your dcs I assume have their own beds and they don't sleep in their school clothes which is what one family seemed to do? (although tbf the Noreen had just had baby no?? - I wondered about the editing of that) The idea that children have to wear different clothes every day is a modern one anyway. I'm sure I wore two school shirts a week until I was well into my teens. Prepubescent kids aren't niffy ime.

I recorded it and just watched it tonight

Felt sorry for Mohammad's wife
Also a bit confused - was the woman who came the health visitor cos she seemed like a MW to me?

I have this on sky+, I'd love another two (no chance of that now though, eh) but not that many.

The Duggans.

I love watching the show Jon & Kate Plus Eight. The couple who had twins and thought they'd like another baby so she could experience having just one. They got sextuplets.

I feel exactly the same, Bubble.

I sometimes feel as though I would like another baby when what I would actually like is to rewind to my dd's baby days.

the tv review in the guardian found nothing wrong with the programme and thought that mo was a lovely bloke

He was quite jovial wasn't he, though I had a feeling he might be very controlling behind closed doors.

TheBlonde - I'm pretty sure she was a MW and they got her title wrong

Report
TheBlonde · 24/05/2008 08:51

The programme failed to give any real insight into why they had so many children and how they coped

Report
Janni · 24/05/2008 19:15

I agree - I would have liked far more depth

Whatever your issues with Anniebear IRL it's not nice to give out her name on here or that of her dh.

Report
mom2many · 30/05/2008 21:55

As it is not nice and down right deceptful for Anniebear to claim she knows someone and is related to them, especially when it is based on a brief encounter outside of mothercare about 7 years ago!!!!

In implying that she dislikes the liverpool family and has issues with them and that "she knows" them, she is claiming to have a view that is representative of their true life.

How is this possible Anniebear???? You do not know us!!!

and also how would anyone on this forum feel if someone was claiming to be related to them , when infact they do not know them??

Two council houses knocked into one for the family?? I don't think so!!!! Two council houses that had been knocked into one for the previous tenant! Two rents are also paid!!!! By the Liverpool family!!!!! Who where infact 35 years old and with 11 children when they first got a council house, not the "have a kid, get a house type at all!!" ``````

mumsnet, you allow a member to post lies about a public figure??? You then delete a message from that figure about your "Untruthfull member???"

OH heavens, I'll bite... Which comment by Anniebear (can you quote specifically and exactly) did you think was a personal attack on you or your family, m2m? Then the people reading this will understand better why you're so upset.

lljkk · 31/05/2008 13:16

All AB said on this thread was "I have my own views on them" which aren't necessarily critical -- and she was apparently confused about why/when the houses were knocked thru.
Are those such awful things?

(lljkk now Runs away, not really wanting to be in middle of someone else's row, but genuinely confused why there might be a row.)

Mom2many - MN deleted your post because you used real names in it, not because of the opinions you put in it.

whos real life names were put in? they werent mine were they?

looks like Im name changing

can I just apologise to mom2many

I dont think I have said anything bad or been deceitful, but if I caused you and your family upset, I apologise

I only said I wouldnt say anything as that would be wrong for me to comment on anyone I know

and of course I would like to comment....... doesnt mean it is anything bad, its just I know some one who has been on a tv programme and know it will be discussed but I cant add anything as I thing it would be wrong as I know you

I only commented the other day that people thought your family were ok after the prog , I also thought you came across really well on the programme and a good mum

again, I apologise if I said something wrong that has upset you, it wasnt intentional, maybe just one post was worded wrong

Sorry Anniebear but yes it was your name and what I'm guessing was your dh's name in the deleted post. There were no surnames though, if that's any consolation.

never really had anything to say that has caused trouble.....oops!

Just a shame that I might have to name change as partic people in the SN section may know me
