I think John Lewis will be disappointed if they get John. He is good but he's not them.

He is skating pretty close quite often isn’t he!

John's (Italian) plate wallpaper seems an odd choice for a Portmeirion holiday cottage. I fear he'll come a cropper on that one.

wallpaper seems a bit childish i think. I reckon Rita has got this.

John's wallpaper is creepy - what is with that face in the flowers??

I loved her flower in the big skirting board frame. It's so simple and exactly the sort of flower I like to "get right" if I need to be calm and decde to draw. It's also calming to look at.

Doilys on the wall? Why? I don’t like either design much so far.

yep i think that was lovely. i am just hoping the orange hall has not ruined it for her.

I think that someone who designed the set for The Good Place was definitely at least slightly by this place. There are pathways and etc, that look almost identical.

I like the dining area but not keen on the lounge. Feels too busy

i love Rita’s knack for repurposing - maybe not every piece but overall I like them. Generally prefer Rita’s cottage (except for the orange) but John’s is much better than I expected. Not wild about the Transylvanian wallpaper but overall one of his best.

I couldn’t call it, I’m batting for Rita overall.

Can't believe how dreary those cottages were before! How depressing if you booked a holiday to stay in one of them.

Rita has more in terms of colour and pattern might work in her favour. I'm team Rita all the way. Sophie is more Port Merion than you, Michelle and you have to accept that this time around because Port Merion is not about minimalism.

Rita had gone for Portmeirion pottery.

i think Rita's kitchen is too pale and dull. Should have gone bright.

Shit. Downstairs is less in your face than I thought it was at Rita.
