She’s going to get caught watching everyone all the time. I know she has to because she’s deaf and reads lips but she’ll get found out I’m sure

Yes, it’s very well done. I was thinking “you’re so naive!” When she was sitting proudly in the station interpreting the recording from the construction site and then it goes to her mum struggling and I get why she’s doing it from the relentless grind and disappointment. It’s really tense to watch for me, you can just feel either her or Liam are going to get hurt. Probably Liam and I’m now gutted for him as young lad pinged between foster homes trying to find someone to trust 🙁

Mum must've mentioned she works for police surely

I think the flashing light when someone is at the door is clever to alert them

The mum seemed scared and on edge I don’t think she would have mentioned anything, Braden said conversation was lacking so maybe he was trying to fish and mum was evasive

Mum spoke with Liam too when he turned up at their flat

Why did she split with former partner.. he's lovely

Although it wouldn't be an exciting storyline would it

She’s just getting deeper and deeper now. I get why but she’s putting herself and her mother in danger

@Fleamaker me too, it’s really good. I like the ambiguity of what the characters might do. I think she might double down on Liam because of their connection and shared abandonment by their dads. But then she’ll be really angry about Joseph the CFO of Hollis and Byrne AKA Wolf evicting her mum.

I’m a bit annoyed about John the police guy encouraging her so much. She has more chance of messing this up and loads of people getting hurt than him catching them all in the act with her intel.

It was a slow burner for me but I’m now enjoying it.

However I feel for her and her Mum. Their life is already hard and Alison is now in a pickle. I can see why she’s attracted to Liam but she’s definitely putting herself in danger and it’s obvious that things are going to escalate.

Didn’t like dark haired police bod doing the emotional type encouragement of loading expectations and their need for information on her. The other police woman at least is uncomfortable with involving Alison in it all and conscious of the danger she could be in.

I always feel tense watching things where Alison is doing texting or snooping and can’t hear the actions of others around her approaching.

This bit really annoyed me.

The bit where she was filming on her phone through the window was a bit ridiculous.
And I did wonder what her boss would think of her "taking keys to mum, she's locked out!" when she disappeared for hours!

Yes and she wasn't very muddy when she got home, she'd have been covered !

The main policeman is a bit slap happy when it comes to keeping her safe , mind she's not very careful herself .

The acting is really good but the writing is letting it down, for me. Alison needs stronger motivation for being so reckless and the others are too stupid to pull off a heist when they keep seeing her doing suspicious things and ignoring it. Unless there's some twist about a double cross.
