I’m late to the party and only just catching up with this thread but wanted to comment before it fills up…
Veronica seems to have expertly and successfully created her own narrative - that she initially went to see Lauren to ask about Elliot AFTER she’d been having problems with him. But from what I recall, she went to see Lauren first, believed Lauren’s assessment of Elliot, and then started challenging him on every single thing he said and did. She actually created the problems and is a major gaslighter. Also… She started to whole program saying she is a person who takes no bs… then set out to give him a hard time, NOT based on how he was being with her… but based on what Lauren had told her! I think Veronica is the very worst person in this, really toxic.
Lauren’s sister in the marriage ceremony was so very very unhinged and unpleasant, it makes sense that Lauren has come from somewhere deeply unpleasant to make her the rude and snooty person she is.

I remember doing that on one of the old MAFS threads ( I think it was the UK one ) and I got put on time out 🤣

Carina's apology was rubbish.

It's like the new catch phrase is 'accountability' and you can just be a dick then say "I'm taking accountability for my actions" and all will be well.
She basically just said she's sorry Awhina got to hear about it because she had said it to Paul in confidence.

I'm surprised Awhina accepted it.

I’m late to the party and catching up , I’m still behind. At first I thought Eliot was a douchebag and treated Lauren badly by dumping her during the honeymoon.

However, he realised what she was really like and at that point no one else could have seen what Lauren was really like.

Lauren was awful and I now feel sorry for Eliot, especially as he then got paired with Veronica.

I take full accountability for not showing up for you and for not having your back.

Did Paul say he’s lived in Australia for 12 years ? That he couldn’t speak much English when he first came over?
He doesn’t have any hint of a foreign accent ( or maybe very slight). I’ve known French people who’ve lived in the UK for most of their lives yet you can still tell they’re not originally from here.

Find it strange Paul sounds like a native Aussie yet he’s supposedly French. His sister didn’t have an accent either.
