I feel like this is quite a controversial theory, but here it is:

I thought at the time, when Teejay announced that Lauren had called Jamie a troll, that Dave seemed uncomfortable with it. I mean, we were all uncomfortable with it, but I had the sense that he was uncomfortably aware that others might view his wife as unattractive. that's when I think he started to change. And then of course there was V's v.

This could all be in my head. I might be way too invested in this.

Just finished watching tonight’s episode, Dave’s behaviour is so familiar to me as it reminds me of what my ex husband was like when he broke my heart but he’d completely checked out.

Jeff was right to criticism Jacqui, her letter was a laundry list of things she didn't like about Ryan - just like Veronica's letter was a laundry list of things she likes about Dave!
