Could someone please decode what Dave said at the end of last night's episode?

Did he say it would be hard to do all the tasks etc in the experiment and not fall in love. Or you can do all the work etc and still not fall in love?

I'm thinking the latter but I couldn't quite catch what he said, exactly.

I thought Jamie gave a pretty open and honest apology to Carina yesterday. I do find Carina a but of a wet-wipe though,

I thought Jamie’s apology was genuine and done well.
I still like her. Her heart is on the right place and she’s willing to learn.

Dave does need to be able to tell her when’s she’s out of order though.

I don’t think carina meant Jamie was a mean girl. She isn’t. But the optics looked a bit mean girls. That’s not supporting Lauren. She is nasty and toxic. If I was Jamie I couldn’t forgive being called a little troll and I’ve been called some things!

I've gone right off Clint. I thought he was going to be an old school gent, but actually he comes across as a weak knobhead now. Why would you back a friendship with a trashy narcissist like Lauren and lose the friendship of all of the rest of the cast? It isn't like there was even the hint of a relationship with Lauren - unless you were a blind mole rat on a very small desert island and even then she'd probably rather eat you than see your value as a potential partner.

I think the latter too. He's in the lift, bag packed, on the way to check-out.

I'm really glad Jamie redeemed herself last night. I really like her and was going off her, but the eye contact during that apology was clearly authentic and genuine.

I think he said the latter. And it's true. My personal opinion is that he's realised he's not actually wanting a relationship right now. And he's paired with someone who is great but he realises how 'all in' she is. Dave has The Fear. We've all been there 😆

Yes she was very rude and the name calling was bang out of order.

BUT - I get why the other women aren’t her cup of tea. I’m an extrovert and would struggle with the shrieking, constant talking about cocks and sex, and grappling to be the most fun/witty. Would they rather Lauren was fake and pretended to like them?

Also Jamie is a bully and the retreat WAS mean girl vibe. They couldn’t give two fucks about Lauren’s relationship, they wanted a gossip and a pop at her, and didn’t like that she wasn’t giving them what they wanted.

Also given they all sulked about the name calling behind their backs - it wasn’t a problem when Jamie was calling Lauren a snob and a bitch.

Jamie going off at Carina and Rhi was unbelievable. Imagine shrieking “I’m not aggressive! Shut your mouth!” And thinking you’re in the right. Nobody has to stand up for anyone in this life and not everyone has an aggressive fight style. I’m disappointed Rhi was effectively badgered into an apology and think Carina handled herself so well. She doesn’t owe Jamie an apology. Following Lauren out to support her wasn’t even about Jamie and she’s made it about her.

I really liked Jamie and have gone completely off her. Lauren’s language and abruptness is uncalled for, but funny how they bleat on about “strong women” but what they mean is “shouty women” - rather than women who just tell it straight.

I also find Jamie and Dave sticking their beaks in everyone’s business and always having a comment at the CC’s draining. They behave like they’re king and queen of the experiment

On the E4 version he said
"I don't think you can do this properly...you can do this properly and not fall in love."
So kinda dubious but I think option 1.
