Todd has got a new beau, and he looks like a Ken doll
And it turns out he's got a wife too
Things never go smoothly for Todd do they really?
What on earth is he going to do?

Julie's still suffering with cancer it seems,
and Kev is still ill with it - how sad
Now Debbie's very likely got dementia
Which is really very bad.

New guy Mick and his missus are loathsome
I hope they leave really soon
I want to just grab them and drop kick them hard
So they end up on the dark side of the moon

DeeDee has had Joels baby, but doesn't want her
And her brother's stepped up to be her dad
But I think she's wavering and getting a bit attached
If she gives her baby up she may be sad.

DeeDee's about to take action for the poor treatment she had
When she was in labour and about to give birth
I hope she gets justice and gets treated right
And gets compensated for what she is worth

Dorin is back, he's incredibly cute
And I have to say DeeDee's baby is too (edit by request)
I hope they don't turn into little shits
Like the children in Corrie tend to do!

Daisy and Jenny have proper fallen out
Over the pub and money and debts
I wonder who'll end up owning it and running it
I think we should take some bets!

I think that's most of what's going on! (Sorry if I've left owt out!)

I've put up with all rubbish until now

why bring Julie back just to kill her off. We liked her let her die in peace

i dont believe Sarah letting Todd have random sex her in spare room. Todd deserves better

fuck off with the Debbie story

Shellingbynight · 06/05/2025 22:16

@OnTheBoardwalk
I agree, I have been putting up with it, just about. But I don't think I can continue watching, I'm going to have a break. Which might be a long one. What has happened to Corrie.😧

eggandonion · 06/05/2025 23:08

@nildesparandum Deedee wouldn't know what a nappy pin was. These young people!

I had a very traumatic birth with my first child 55 years ago. Emergency c section during which my son and I nearly died,I was in hospital for two weeks afterwards on the day I went home asked my DH to bring in my lovely slim fitting pre pregnancy clothes. To my horror I could not get my skirt fastened around my still swollen waist and abdomen, and had to use two nappy pins!.It was over two months after when I could get normal clothes to fit me.
I saw DeeDee and thought, Grrr!.But this is Corrie.

Tbf I had similar and was in tight high waists after a week and back in my slim clothes with belts etc but I doubt that's the norm!
If it was just this then it could be forgiven but there's too many unrealistic things.

When the paramedics said Julie had a DNR and began to explain, Eyelash said she knew what it was and they responded, "Well then you'll know there's nothing we can do for your sister!" Quite the bedside manner.

I must be the only one who found Julie rather irritating - all the interfering and advising. And I know last night's was meant to be moving but the endless platitudes about making the most of living became so boring.

Illjusthavethebreadsticks · 07/05/2025 08:34

Her last video was annoying ‘I know how people’s hearts work’ urgh !!

All this from someone who they had hardly seen for a decade.

Corrie has a weird obsession with dying people making videos so they can pose as some sort of angel after they have gone. Sinead was never off that laptop.

No you are not 😀

i feel the same ..also her hair up do Monday. Would she have the energy if she was so unwell or was invisible Audrey around

zanahoria · 07/05/2025 16:50

If my sister died and left me a video message that sounded like the lyrics of a Celine Dion song, I would be a bit freaked out.

Lorrymum · 07/05/2025 17:51

Where did Julie suddenly spring from? She just seemed to appear in Debbie's hotel and never leave. Does she have a home, job, other friends?
If Brian was the love of her life, she had years to be with him but didn't. Such a load of twaddle!

I thought she had been in Wales

AmusedMaker · 07/05/2025 19:56

Another one who found Julie a bit irritating.
She seemed obsessed with Eileen’s relationship and breaking it up. Why?
Seems to be the only reason she reappeared.
Really weird storyline.

Lorrymum · 07/05/2025 20:01

After all the lowlifes Eileen has been involved with, George was a breath of fresh air.

FeltCarrot · 07/05/2025 20:10

Are we meant to believe that Ken doll slept on that tiny sofa?

FeltCarrot · 07/05/2025 20:43

I also don’t understand the anonymous texts that Lauren is getting. Surely it must be someone she knows otherwise how would they have her phone number? It’s not like the good old days when you looked someone up in the phone book.🤨

I think it's Bobby

Middlemarch123 · 07/05/2025 20:48

I found Julie irritating too. Eileen being grilled, love it, don’t like her much either.
When I think about it, I only like Todd, a lot. Carla, a bit…and…well no one else. Bring back Peter, then they can continue to roll out this dross and I’m still happy!

PattyDukeAstin · 07/05/2025 20:52

I love Todd.

MmeChoufleur · 07/05/2025 21:18

There’s no in between with Corrie storylines. They either drag something out in a ridiculous yawn fest for months on end, or there’s Julie. She pops up with terminal cancer, but seems like there’s nothing wrong with her for a few weeks. Suddenly she’s in pain for a few days but still having a daily skinful in the Rovers, and then she’s gone in a puff of smoke.

Illjusthavethebreadsticks · 07/05/2025 21:44

surely kit and mick have crossed paths in the street already.

wouldn’t Julie need a postmortem ? She was whisked off the undertakers pretty quick.

I agree with this too. Although if they do split, I won't miss George calling Eileen 'Eyelash!' 😆

How is Summer an expert on what Julie would have wanted?

Kellywiththelegs · 07/05/2025 22:10

That completely wooden scene in the Rovers with all the cast stood like soldiers on duty at the bar, only one person had actual drink, is the petty cash tin that depleted now they can’t even afford to pretend that the Rovers is actually a pub by serving drinks? Has all the production budget gone on the new set ‘The Bill Weatherfield Branch’?

Housewife2010 · 07/05/2025 22:14

I can't stand miserable Eileen & would be quite happy for her to be locked up. George can do far better.
