Now Debbie's very likely got dementia
Which is really very bad.

New guy Mick and his missus are loathsome
I hope they leave really soon

So they end up on the dark side of the moon

DeeDee has had Joels baby, but doesn't want her
And her brother's stepped up to be her dad
But I think she's wavering and getting a bit attached
If she gives her baby up she may be sad.

DeeDee's about to take action for the poor treatment she had
When she was in labour and about to give birth
I hope she gets justice and gets treated right
And gets compensated for what she is worth

Dorin is back, he's incredibly cute
And I have to say DeeDee's baby is too (edit by request)
I hope they don't turn into little shits

Daisy and Jenny have proper fallen out

I didn’t think Jenny was going to find out about the con so at least that was a pleasant surprise. But aside from that it was another really poor episode. The quiz should have been engaging and moving because it was for Julie but it was pure ham. Especially the bit where Jenny found out and grabbed the microphone and started shrieking. And Amy Robbins should never work again based on her performance in this episode.

And the uncle who wants to adopt her has disappeared to the USA.

I know his boyfriend has had an accident but what can he do there? I guess mope around the hospital 24/7 like they always do in Corrie. He would be better off actually looking after the baby. Instead he just leaves anyone to look out for it.

I hope Daisy doesn't move to that London causing Bethany to return so they don't bump into each other. Because all that will happen is Daniel will tell Bethany she's the one he loves and always has been. Yawn.

Leave Bethany in that London PLEASE.

Betsy was playing the dead mum card again

Alarm bells rang for me when Jenny said that the bank fraud department had rung and the money was transferred into another account. Why wouldn't it be returned to the account it was sent from? Sounded like another scam, or maybe I've watched too many scammer programmes!

I had hoped that Gary would lock horns with Mick and that would lead to the Woodentops leaving. But it looks like they're going to be working together now, so likely we're stuck with that awful couple.

Has there been any sign of work being done on the Platts' burned out house? Or is that where Theo was working? I remember David asking Audrey if they could move in with her as it's a bit cramped at Sarah's and Audrey is living To The Manor Born. Did she agree to that? Wouldn't the insurance company have paid for temporary accommodation for the family?

And as usual, Daisy has made the decision to leave - and is going "tomorrow". Presumably she has accommodation and work all lined up and ready. And what's the betting she will leave with one small suitcase. She'd need more than that just for the cosmetics and hair products.

I'm increasingly furious that they're writing Debbie out, and in such an awful way. I keep hoping they're going to come up with a misdiagnosis storyline, or a wonder drug that hakts/reverses any deterioration. The only minor consolation is that they've given the storyline to such a good actress, who will deliverv an excellent performance despite the dire scripts she'll be given.

I'm disappointed that Daisy has been turned back into the nasty character she was when she first arrived. The actress was great in the acid attack/stalker story and with losing her baby. But what I really hate is that it's given Daniel the opportunity to be even more sanctimonious and holier than thou when he's a really shit boyfriend, dad and person.

One of the problems that Corrie has got itself into is that as virtually all the characters are wrong'uns there it nobody who can set a moral tone without looking like a hypocrite. Daniel is not the only one or even the worst offender. We had Jenny screeching about how evil fraudsters are in the pub bought with money she conned out of her Carla.

Yes I agree, there are few characters who have not committed a serious crime. Daisy has totted up several.

@HurdyGurdy19 yes I noticed that comment about another account but it is probably Corrie getting their facts wrong. Again. Re the Platts, there is no insurance payout because it was arson. Audrey is selling her house to finance the rebuild, and will move in with them. I expect it will magically appear in a few weeks!

I doubt it! It’ll be rushed like all their storylines, her diagnosis was super fast very unlike real life.

I really hope that in Daisy and Bethany's absence, that the annoying cardigan woman doesn't return.
