i recall a brief foray into the world of poverty when Denise was starving herself and relying on food banks but it was only for a couple of weeks and then she was straight back to take out coffees which must surely be about a fiver now in London.

I know it isn’t real but the script writers could try a bit harder to make it vaguely credible 😂

None of it makes sense. Alfie didn't tell Kat about Zoe because Zoe said she would run off if he did. Zoe has now run off and there is no reason not to tell Kat, especially since she said the relationship was over if he lied about going to Oz.

At least you see people on the stalls , you rarely see a delivery van or a Brakes lorry or anyone doing a ‘stock take ‘ of any kind.

Just caught up with this week’s episodes. Absolute bore. Why didn’t anyone ask how or why Stacey was renting some random flat without her kids. Hope the Joel/Tommy storyline peters out soon. Everything is so easily sorted by asking strangers to meet you (they agree of course) then paying them off from the magic money tree. No doubt Linda will be back on the bottle. The scriptwriters have left her sober for too long. Phil is sniffing around her and that’ll be the next doomed romance. Glad George has left Elaine. He’s a lovely man and she’s just a pantomime dame. Unrealistic character. Alfie just ties himself up in knots with lies upon lies and I’ve no idea why they asked Michelle Ryan to come back just to stand behind a door crying and saying she “don’t wanna see her muvva”
