Did anybody else get tickets yesterday?
I’m so excited, I love Shearsmith and Pemberton (and still nurse an almighty crush on RS). Also a bit nervous, as I still have to watch some episodes from the safety of behind a cushion.

I went on Saturday in Liverpool. Loved it! The tube after was full of people reading their tour books.

Who was your guest ?

Ymamiss · 26/11/2025 19:48

I saw it in Liverpool last week - our special guest was Sian Gibson (Peter Kay car share and League of gentlemen) and she was then seated right in front of us for the second half - she was so lovely!

Mamarea · 26/11/2025 21:07

My 23 year old son and I saw it in Edinburgh last night! We both loved it, though neither of us knew who Jonathan Watson was.

Americano75 · 26/11/2025 21:54

Going on Saturday to the matinee, praying they get someone better than Jonathan Watson FFS.

BriceNobeslovesMurielHeslop · 26/11/2025 22:26

Jonathan Watson was in Local Hero! He’s been a stalwart on Scottish telly for as long as I’ve been alive, he might not be one of their glitzier guest stars but he was hilarious and more than deserves to be up there (*bangs gavel).
I actually like when it’s someone a bit more niche, not every guest can be Ian McKellan and having lesser known comedic actors up
there is more in the spirit of early IN9, before it became a “thing” to do an appearance.

😂😂 Fair enough, I can’t argue with you there! Fingers crossed for a more palatable guest for you, come back and tell us who you get!

Edinburgh tonight. Absolutely brilliant. Our guest was Frankie Boyle who really played it well.

TooBigForMyBoots · 28/11/2025 21:36

Me and DS1 are going tomorrow night. I can't wait.😁

TheDefiant · 29/11/2025 00:03

Was there tonight. Second time. I saw it in London too. Was amazing! Still left my seat in fright several times.

BriceNobeslovesMurielHeslop · 29/11/2025 01:40

I’ve got a cheapy ticket for tomorrow in Edinburgh- can’t wait, but mildly dreading it. In my excitement I’m in the second row!

How fucking brilliant is this?

Guest star is John McKay, massive news anchor for non Scottish fans. He was absolutely outstanding! 😆

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 29/11/2025 21:25

DD and I watched it this afternoon Edinburgh Playhouse . I had no idea who John Mackay is but I loved the way he kept telling Steves character "STV not STD" 😆. How the devil I managed to keep The Twist to myself, I saw it in March and we're now the backend of November. I can now discuss it with her , she's my Inside Number 9 cohort. Really really enjoyed it .

😁 I went into toilet number 9 at work HQ and sent my DD a photo of the door sign. Not in the least bit weird

Love it!

ThatsNotMyTeen · 29/11/2025 22:52

Just on the way home, it was brilliant!

Our guest was Sanjeev Kohli

BriceNobeslovesMurielHeslop · 29/11/2025 23:23

Absolutely loved seeing it a second time- it was great spotting all the wee clues and “relaxing” into the scarier bits a bit more. We saw “Toby” outside the theatre and had a little blether with him. SK was hilarious and really seemed to be enjoying himself.
