Watched last night's this afternoon. They were mostly dire, but the few good ones didn't even seem to get through! Are Andorra not correctly placed politically either?

Am watching this a little behind live time on Sky+, but oh my goodness, wasn't Lithuania bad?! On the whole been much better than the other night though.

I take it I was the only one watching tonight then! Well 5 out of my 6 'yes' countries made it through, which isn't bad, though does mean that the other 5 that made it are fairly crap!

I watched, but the standard of cheese this year has been somewhat low.

The 'vodka' themed entry was amusing from a personal point of view, could be my anthem that one

well watched both semi finals so far, and some songs are defiantely better then others, eh...., lol!

Btw. how did the first 5 finalist get choosen?

Same as normal 3anm - they are the winner from last year plus the 4 countries that bankroll the whole thing, so get automatic qualification.

3andnomore, they are not chosen they are just the countries who can afford to put a wedge of money in for televising and staging etc.

oh right....was wondering how else UK, Germany and France had a chance to get in nowadays, lol....might aswell!

I was very disappointed that teh Swiss entry didn't get in, thought he was better then some of the others...not that that means anything, of course...lol...

Switzerland was the 6th one on my 'yes' list last night, but it's no surprise that they didn't get through, as they don't belong to any of the major voting blocks. They had the best entry of all last year (Vampires are Alive if anyone remembers last year's semis), but didn't make it to the finals then either.

France and Spain are my favourites, camp, but intelligently so.
