Aw🥰🥰

EsmaCannonball · 20/03/2025 20:13

I think it is because going for a birthday picnic in a park is exactly the kind of thing I do with my sisters and friends. Really touched a nerve.

littlbrowndog · 20/03/2025 20:15

It’s the kind of things we women should be able to do

EsmaCannonball · 20/03/2025 20:15

Seafront doughnuts are a great example of food that is cheap but good.

littlbrowndog · 20/03/2025 20:16

Jeez that starter looks amazing

CapabilityBrownsHaHa · 20/03/2025 20:17

Evening!

Nerves getting to them already??

littlbrowndog · 20/03/2025 20:19

Cmon jean. Get the stuff not frozen

CapabilityBrownsHaHa · 20/03/2025 20:19

I'm glad the judges are up for "different". Not a soggy mushroom on sight!

EsmaCannonball · 20/03/2025 20:19

I actually really love the way Jason and Jean work together. After a series full of (mostly) flaky chefs, it is great to see two people who make a really efficient and competent team.

EsmaCannonball · 20/03/2025 20:21

I like Mina as a judge. Very 'voice of the people.'

littlbrowndog · 20/03/2025 20:21

Yes they are both good chefs. I like them both

littlbrowndog · 20/03/2025 20:22

Yes what she is saying is so true.

Theeyeballsinthesky · 20/03/2025 20:23

I like that we’ve had quite a few ‘normal’ ppl as guest judge

Yes, like in previous series when they had NHS workers or war veterans.

CapabilityBrownsHaHa · 20/03/2025 20:25

I hope he's peeled and deseeded his grapes this time!

littlbrowndog · 20/03/2025 20:25

Omg this meal looks good tatties in a paper with herbs

CapabilityBrownsHaHa · 20/03/2025 20:26

Yum! Looks good. I like that they're properly working together, and are v respectful of each other, too.

littlbrowndog · 20/03/2025 20:27

They are just great together.

EsmaCannonball · 20/03/2025 20:28

The problem with sharing dishes like this is that I could easily eat all those potatoes myself. I'd be sticking my fork in the back of people's hands.

CapabilityBrownsHaHa · 20/03/2025 20:28

They just need to sprinkle the chefs amongst all the tables, so there's someone who does know how to serve it....

littlbrowndog · 20/03/2025 20:29

Sea bream is so delicate. Think it should just be fried in butter

littlbrowndog · 20/03/2025 20:30

Love the vibe in kitchen

CapabilityBrownsHaHa · 20/03/2025 20:31

So, not only have they been flat out doing their own stuff, but they noticed what each other was doing enough to just pick it up and run with it! I like these 2 together.

Sunbird24 · 20/03/2025 20:31

I wonder if you can frizzle other foods?

'The only problem with this dish, from a banquet point of view, is someone's got to carve that fish.'

I mean, there's usually about 25 chefs in the room. They'll manage. Have Michael O'Hare in roller-boots going round all the tables.
