First time watching The IT Crowd!

I love it!

I actively avoided it when it first came out because I thought it was going to be too geeky and cringe. But I missed a treat. Or maybe I wouldn't have appreciated it at that age anyway, who knows?

Just watched the episode where they get involved with the football fans, and the scene where they are in the pub exchanging worried glances while in amongst a load of footy fans talking nonstop had me absolutely creased up. 😆😆😆 it's just so bloody British and I love it!

Just sharing the love really.

Very jealous of you, OP, for getting to experience it all for the first time! They just don’t make decently funny British comedy anymore; The IT Crowd is probably one of the last of the good ones.

Peter File episode is the best. When they go to Jen's for the dinner party, it's all so perfect.

Also late in the series you have Jen "speaking" Italian. If you watch "Here We Go" on BBC you'll see Katherine Parkinson do a very similar thing in an Italian restaurant scene.

The Internet is my favourite. Closely followed by the theatre trip. Absolute comedy gold. All 3 main characters just work perfectly together.

Oh I love GGG! Only watched that a few years ago. I'm glad I was so rubbish at watching telly when I was younger. There's so much good stuff to catch up on!
