Welcome to the EastEnders spoilers thread, where we post and talk about any EE spoilers we've read about, including those in early release episodes on iPlayer.

Link below to watch episodes on BBC iPlayer - these are usually dropped at 6am on broadcast days - and you can read brief synopses of upcoming episodes:

Teddy is such a bad actor.... pretend hard man. Now capable of murder. Eye roll!

Newearah · 12/03/2025 12:33

They’re all just walking in each others doors, half the storylines wouldn’t work without that ability!
not keen on the Nicola melodramatic shireen revelation, like suddenly she’s terrified when up until now she has just dangled teddy like a mouse on a tail.
unless she’s faking and just doesn’t want to upset the applecart by admitting she’s lied all these years.
and Harvey just needs to end it with Jean and move on.
thats two women now he can’t stop being around, meeting up with. , doing nice things for etc.
jean is a complete bitch to him but his behaviour with that other woman and Kathy would not impress me if I was his partner.
hes clearly not happy and she hasn’t had a nice word to say about him for months.
i am sure her precarious mental health will be a factor in him staying and in the storyline when she finds out about Kathy but i hope they don’t drag it on too long, or the Zack/ teddy terror story

the80sweregreat · 12/03/2025 12:51

Like Tommy, I've a hunch that Nicola is lying through her teeth in order to keep Sharon at bay and stop Zack and her telling jumpers things.
It all feels so random at the moment with the new Mitchells as if the writers don't know which way to go with them.
Poor Bianca needs a break too, at least Sonia has realized she is being a bit hard on her , finally.
Brenda needs to say a proper apology too.

Just reading next week's TV mag and it says we will get to see an episode that shows Phil's 4 week stay and in the Mental Health Facility. I'm really interested to finally see a SL that (hopefully) shows you the rehabilitation/recovery process for a change instead of glossing over it or just forgetting about it.

the80sweregreat · 12/03/2025 16:29

I hope that Phil recovers.
The square need him back especially now it appears the latest Mitchell's are all gangsters and wannabes and getting lairy!

InALonelyWorld · 12/03/2025 16:43

By the sounds of it, he's discharged next week @the80sweregreat, at the end of his special episode. Although, I hope it's not going to be a case of him instantly recovered and it never being mentioned again.

the80sweregreat · 12/03/2025 18:14

They sometimes reference Phil's alcoholism and drug addiction, so maybe this will be the same.

Viewer23 · 12/03/2025 19:09

I remember how Teddy made a concerted effort to isolate Phil when he first arrived so I am glad his nice guy act has finally been unmasked.

storminabuttercup · 12/03/2025 19:49

He'd have never got away with that if Zack wasn't already hurting

the80sweregreat · 12/03/2025 19:53

I don't remember Teddy trying to isolate Phil , but it seems that he certainly isn't who he seems to be if Nic is telling the truth etc.

Meredusoleil · 12/03/2025 19:55

Touching scene between Teddy and Barney tonight 👏

Shellingbynight · 12/03/2025 20:00

I agree @Viewer23
Teddy finally showed his true colours. It was inevitable he was not really an emollient cardigan wearer. How could Barney hug his ‘dad’ who had just given Zack a violent kicking in front of him.

Do we believe Nicola about Teddy? I can imagine him doing it but I cannot imagine her being shocked or caring.

Nice to see Brenda, and at least she talked some sense into Sonia. I liked the Lily and Tommy scenes, they are both lonely in their own ways.

I like the way they are showing all the different reactions to how Martin’s funeral should be. Personally I agree with Kath and Alfie - low fuss.

Martin seems to be far more interesting in death than he ever was in life😆

the80sweregreat · 12/03/2025 20:03

I don't recall any of them having much to do with Martin really .. suddenly he was everyone's best friend !
Alfie was actually rather good today , he annoys the hell out of Dh , but I like him

InALonelyWorld · 12/03/2025 20:11

Ive just watched tonight's... Its always the little quiet, sweet ones with the biggest temper isn't it?! I really feel for Zac and now he's got a life long connection to this weirdly psychotic and boring family.

I'm still suspicious of Nicola and paired with the spoilers for next week I wonder if she might have tried to frame Teddy with Shereen and it backfired onto Harry getting the blame.

the80sweregreat · 12/03/2025 20:17

Nic mentioned the party and a name this evening that will be significant with all this and the missing girlfriend etc etc
Agree they are a boring crowd but I still can't get my head around Teddy being an actual killer !

Shellingbynight · 12/03/2025 20:32

80s - even after seeing what he did to Zack? I can well imagine him - and Nic - as killers.

the80sweregreat · 12/03/2025 20:34

I know, it was just a bit of shock that Teddy isn't a nice guy gangster after all.
Have to see how it plays out now and I hope that Sharon and Zack stay away from both of them now

Viewer23 · 12/03/2025 20:39

I too can imagine both Teddy and Nicola as killers. Teddy’s deliberate sidelining of Phil (he seemed to target Sharon as part of this ploy in the beginning), his relationship with Reiss (helping him pay off the money he’d stolen from Phil and Sharon and then keeping him in his pocket) and his burning of the Minute Mart were all signs of his dangerous nature. But I think Nicola might have killed Shireen.

the80sweregreat · 12/03/2025 20:41

I missed all the ' red flags' with old jumpers !
I suppose my dislike of his ex muddied the water a bit, but I can see it now.

rightoguvnor · 12/03/2025 20:44

I’ve always thought that Teddy’s history would make Phil and Grant’s history look like Bill and Ben the flowerpot men. Felt like he was one of those gangsters who keep the criminal side very well hidden. I was waiting for him to be exposed as the kingpin in Nicola’s drug dealing.

the80sweregreat · 12/03/2025 20:48

Hmm, I was taken in by the jumpers I must admit!
Nic was just horrible from the get go

Shellingbynight · 12/03/2025 20:51

Agreed @Viewer23 Teddy quickly got Billy onside, then targeted Sharon and left Phil alone. Then tried to look like the nice guy and all concerned about Phil, but he is in large part responsible for Phil's isolation. We still don’t know how he gets his money but I bet it’s no better than what Nic does, it'll be something very messy.

the80sweregreat · 12/03/2025 20:55

Whatever Jumpers does , it was enough to buy Gray's old place easily enough and that is the biggest place on the square and worth a lot of money.

Shellingbynight · 12/03/2025 21:07

Yes exactly, he has masses of cash to splash around - yet we never see him doing any work.

the80sweregreat · 12/03/2025 21:09

He mentioned contractors the other day, so he has building as his proper job and all the illegal stuff is done on the quiet.
