I do that feel most men would just shrug it off / let it drop , but maybe losing Peach and not seeing much of Dolly has made him go a bit strange and he actually wants to be part of Barney's life ?
Especially as he lives so close to him and he is a nice lad etc.
It is also to show case how far Nicola will go with things , which is why Teddy didn't want her back in their lives. Can't say I blame him !

To be fair , the Nicola actress is doing a good job with a thin script as we all don't like her.
She is more interesting than Jumpers though and yes, she is like Chrissie watts !

Oh gosh now you've said Pound Shop Chrissie Watts - you're right! That is who they are aiming for. I thought it was Peggy but it's Chrissie. Nic is not fit to lick Chrissie's boots.

That’s interesting 80s, about Nicola not really being that bothered about ‘her boys’. I think you're right, they are just pawns.

(Yes the twins are a bit posh, and actually so is Tommy when he 'forgets'!)

Zac will also have done training for his and Whit's fostering, which would suggest that telling a teenager his Dad is not his biological father would need to be done gently and sensitively. Especially if Barn is ND

I also thought that when Tommy apologised to the twins and then Kat that he used very similar language and it sounded rehearsed. I think ‘Matt’ has been coaching him into saying the right things so he sounds suitably remorseful.

Tommy's facial expressions look genuine though? When a character is lying, they generally then turn to camera to give a mwa-ha-ha face and he hasn't (yet) done that.

I think the actress who plays Nicola is good. I think she looks hard as nails and I'd be scared if I bumped into her in the pub loos.

I'm glad Sharon stood up to Nicola and knows about Barney, but will she tell Teddy now that her secret is out?

They watched him interacting with the chat bot , but I wouldn't know the truth from fiction with something like that tbh. Maybe I'd look it up ?

The AI friend he says he has now isn’t dramatic enough for EE (although it’s cutting edge for a soap!). I still think he’s talking to Dermott. He (actor who plays Tommy) is really good in his role.

Oh he says it's a chatbot? That is really interesting, highlights his loneliness. Could be true.

I work in Tech/AI and am a bit dubious about Tommy’s story. Although I wonder if this will lead to him misbehaving and claiming the AI friend told him to do XYZ. I really don’t think he’s rehabilitated and suspect he was only borderline pleasant to Kat and the twins because he was desperate to get the console. He still looks like he can barely stand to be around his family.

So now Jumpers knows about Grunt, Sharon has nothing to lose if she tells him about Barney and Zach..

I do wonder if Sharon will tell Jumpers about Barney or just leave it especially as Barney is there etc? Hard to know what she'll do tbh

I wonder whether they go down the well trodden soap road of Barney needing life saving surgery, and guess what, only Zack is a suitable match.

I did see a spoiler that said Shirley is coming back for a short spell, can’t remember where I saw it though.

The twins and Tommy are goood actors, but still have drama school accents. They need Danny Dyer to return and give them a crash course in cockney.
