Living arrangements are always so bizarre on the square. Currently Sonia & baby, Bianca, George, Elaine, Kojo, Johnny, Linda, Ollie and Annie are all living in one house (Anna has vanished). No-one seems to be sleeping in the front room!

Did you see how tight that skirt was on Nicola? It was as if it had been specially taken in, to give her a wiggly walk, as if she is a femme fatale, and she clearly isn't, she is just a scheming minx.

Oh yes when I lived in London I certainly knew and chatted to my neighbours, but I never shagged or married them!

I meant to mention Nicola’s attire. She was slinking around like she was on a catwalk, rather than recently returned from sleeping in a chair at the hospital. And she kept on her really high heels for extra slink.

I suspect whatever we are supposed to think Teddy does, it's a front for something nefarious. He must be money laundering. He has far too much spare cash for 'construction'.

Teddy said to Nicola ' the basement hasn't any water'
She just said to the boys ' I'll be up here a lot then ' or something and grinned it seems she's hardly in the basement at all.
Considering his a ' builder ' he could get his people to sort this out ? Although my knowledge of basements and plumbing is fairly scant

Teddy jumpers must have moved his company over from Dartford although he never appears to be doing any actual work.

Jumpers is drab; he arrived with great promise...

Jumpers did arrive with promise , but he is a bit of an odd bod.

You'd think that the Knights would have stayed in the b and b as this must be covered by the insurances ?
Maybe only Linda and her children are there with Kojo at Sonia's , but it's not been made entirely clear has it !
Not sure how any of them manage really

It does sound as if she attacks him herself, presumably with some kind of weapon. It all sounds horrible, and far too much screen time for the new Mitchells.

I do like the sound of the other link you posted earlier in the week though @Southeastdweller -the one about Phil. I don't think we discussed it as we were too busy with Harvey😆

His a tad marmite, but I like Keith Allen.

I thought Nicola was very sinister when she first arrived and was threatening Penny. So attacking Zack (presumably with a weapon) wouldn’t surprise me. If anyone has watched the last season of Sherwood she reminds me a bit of Anne Branson, the character played by Monica Dolan, who comes across as a middle aged dinner lady but is in fact a psychotic murderer. The really terrifying thing about her is her seemingly mundane demeanour and the way she cheerfully chats about slaughtering people as if she’s discussing the price of bread.

I agree Keith Allen is marmite, but I think he'll be great in scenes with Steve.

Monica D was brilliant - she always is.
Nicola just comes across as nasty. No doubt we will get "I'll do anything for my kids" repeated on a loop.

I can imagine Nicola trying to kill Zac
In real life he would definitely over power her I think , but this is EE where such things seem commonplace!

I do like Keith Allen but in my head he's always Dr Tony Whitman in "Bodies" though he has been in so many films / TV .
He'll make a very good sounding board or antagonist to Phil.

Zac would probably come off worse if Nicola catches him by surprise with a weapon . Could be any number of things she would have to hand - in the NightClub she will have something .
Zac does look the type to not harm a women so he'd be too shocked to hit back and Nic might get in and land a proper blow .

Why does he not ask for a DNA test ? Why has he gone blundering in "Oh it's my kid" and stamping all over everything .

There was some suspicion that Nicola had something to do with Harry's gf disappearing, was there not? Attacking Zac may be a lead in to a violent past

We were told that Nicola had given someone dodgy lip fillers and had gone to prison.
It sounded a bit vague / shoehorned in and I did wonder if there was more that story than they were letting on tbh.
Then the revelations over Harry's ex and she managed to get him off any more investigations by giving him an alibi and getting Jack into trouble etc
She is clearly violent I think and Teddy seems wary of her.

Just catching up on Thursdays and laughing at Sharon drinking her wine in the cafe

Sharon and the wine in the cafe was really random! I suppose I might drink in the middle of the day in her shoes. She’s had a lot of heartbreak and now this nonsense with Grant and Teddy to deal with. It’s quite odd that she is happily hosting Ruby given that Johnny Allen killed her beloved husband Dennis.

I thought that with Sharon , when did Kathy's cafe start selling wine? ..
She has obviously forgiven Ruby I suppose , but most people wouldn't have anything to do with her after what happened with her dad and Dennis etc.

Shaz took the bottle of wine from Peggy's didn't she?

Thanks for the reminder about Nicola and the lip fillers. I'd forgotten she had been in jail, I zone out a lot during the new Mitchell scenes. She is very big on 'my kids' so she probably did do something illegal for Harry, and is now doing so again for Barney.

They couldn't hide Stacey's pregnancy in her scene with lily, she walks out and it's so visible, bless her 🤭
