Well Kat was shagging Bianca's Uncle Derek (I knew if I thought about it there would be a Connection )

When Bianca came back last year it was said that she and Kat were besties but I don't remember it previously, I just accepted it.

They shoehorn in best friend scenarios all the time for plot purposes. I don’t remember Bianca and Kat as friends previously.

Then there are characters who call themselves best friends within weeks of meeting for the first time, see Zach and Martin. Avani declared Barney was her bestie after Ravi dangled him from the bridge. They are two people who would never interact in real life and neither has been there for the other recently (when Avani’s grandfather died and when Barney was in hospital).

I remember Kat and Kim being casual friends historically but can't recall Bianca and Kat hanging out. I do remember uncle Derek though now my memory has been jogged.

That is very true 70s.

I suppose Bianca had to have a friend and she and Kat do seem like they'd get on.

Now Harvey is claiming he and Martin were great friends, which I don't remember.

Uncle Derek died one Christmas Day from a heart attack. He was a bit of a sleaze bag , but Kat seemed to like him!

Martin never had any real friends just Kush, Asif when he was a school child and Sharon by association. Harvey has a good imagination. 🤔

I suppose it's plausible that Harvey and Martin spent time together when Martin was visiting the kids in the tardis house? We only see a snap shot of their lives so I guess the writers can be creative

Harvey and Mitch and Martin had a bit of love in going on once and it was nice seeing men bonding. Short lived though

Bianca still has the talent of putting her foot in her mouth I see 😬🤭

That article I posted about Zack was badly written because it isn’t Nicola who attacks him in today’s episode, she got a hang of thugs to do it.

Jean was yet again talking to Harvey like he was a piece of dirt. She is one of the most annoying characters on EE!

I forgot to mention the other day it seems Stacey will be going to stay with Sean and Jean looking after the kids
Presumably that's why the funeral is being rushed so it's done for her going on mat leave

Which also makes me wonder why they chose to kill off Martin? Would have been easier to not, no rushed funeral and he could have looked after the kids
Like would Stacey really leave her kids while they grieve ?

Stacey was supposedly going to Seans 'for a few days' before the funeral. I think there are photos of her at the funeral(?) but presumably she'll go back there again for a few months. At least they aren't sending her to jail again!

Eve hasn't been around to comfort Stacey. I can't remember seeing her at all since the Vic collapse?

Oh I meant to say, Mimi Keene (Cindy Junior) has a major role in the latest Agatha Christie adaptation, Towards Zero - she's very good and looks absolutely stunning.

There was a brief scene with Eve just after the live episode and she said was off to Brighton to visit a sick friend. She did offer to stay, but Stacey said no. Stacey told her about Martin and Lily overheard her and that's when it kicked off with Ruby in Harry's Barn for his memorial.

Eve always has the friend in Brighton as a get out clause whenever she needs to leave for a bit.

I’ve missed Bianca’s puffer. Just need her scrunchie and Rickaaaay to return and we’re right back to the mid 90s.

Thanks 80s - yes of course there was that scene where Lily overheard them. Eve does have a very convenient friend in Brighton!

It was a tad half hearted with Eve though:
