I saw a spoiler for next week about Tommy, apparently the person he is speaking with online, is somebody from the past and Kat and Alfie discover who it is next week. Lots of people commenting that it's Zoe but the spoiler reads like it's someone unwanted and I'm not sure that indicates it being Zoe. What happened to the older Son from Ireland, did he die?
I'm still not watching. With this thread and the spoilers that pop up, I don't feel I'm missing out on anything

I can't imagine who Tommy is speaking to , but could be any of the slaters from Kats past maybe?

I was thinking one of her two sisters. That’s all the Slaters apart from Zoe (I believe).

But probably it’s her adult son who tried to kill her in Redwater and is still alive.

I thought that Zoe's twin died ?
However , I didn't watch Redwater so no idea how it ended or what happened!

No, he didn't die. Kat gave birth to him after she passed out after she gave birth to Zoe.

I didn’t know Zoe had a twin. I think I glazed over the whole storyline with Kat and those babies as it didn’t make sense to me. Was the idea that she didn’t know she had another baby alongside Zoe? Was he kidnapped?

So she has had two sets of twins. Also very unlikely, there doesn’t seem to be any history of twins in the Slater family so what are the chances!

Kat gave birth to Zoe in a nursing home run by some nuns and then she went to sleep with exhaustion ( or something) and she then had a boy. She didn't know she was having twins and the nuns took the baby away and he was adopted.
Kat and Alfie found him during a spin off show they did called Redwater and I think he was a priest ! Not sure what happened though as I only saw one episode of it and it was set in Ireland.

I didn't see Annie or Ollie today at Sonia's house. Might be at school , but there are a lot of people living in one house !
Bored and zoning out of the Sharon / Nicola / Barney / Teddy / Zac stuff and it's just going round in circles.
Harry is so horrible , I wouldn't miss him if he goes out of it.

I watched Redwater but it was so ridiculous I have wiped it from my mind!

Speaking of absent kids, who was looking after Roman while Ruby was swanning around on her own?

She fell asleep, had the baby boy (while sleeping?) and he was taken away? Umm, ok!

It was one of EE's more ridiculous storylines with Kat and her long lost son.
She met the Nun who helped her and she told her that she knew she couldn't have coped with two babies , so they decided to have him adopted and not tell her about him.
Not sure if anyone else knew about it tbh.

So Tommy is still trying to be a manipulative little shit and Kat is scared of him. At least Alfie said the console was supposed to be a present not a condition of his return.

Kats twins seem out of control.
Shutting her arm in the drawer and breaking the console.
I can understand why she won't tell Tommy the truth, but it'll all end in tears :(

Saw an old episode today with Shirley Pat and Hev going to Brighton.
Who should appear briefly but Burnside from the Bill. Was a funny old episode.

Where does jumpers work?

I didn't realize until this week that Jumpers was a builder and today he mentioned contractors ! They can't be far away as he always seems to be around the square.

He is too pretty to be a builder! His jumpers would snag on the scafffholding.

Yep, no wonder we see him with different jumpers , he keeps on ruining them!
He used to live in Dartford, so his business must have moved too ? Although ( as usual) it's vague isn't it !

How are Zac and Nicola chatting in a quiet house about Barney , with Teddy upstairs and he doesn’t hear ?! Also the fact that he’s Barney’s Dad and all these coincidences - he sleeps with someone … 15 years later finds out he has a sister , moves in with her and then another long lost relative of her ex turns up , starts seeing her and he happens to be the husband of the woman he slept with 15 yeats ago and they all move to the same area and he is the father of the child Teddy thinks is his ? Small world 😂

Jean is horrible to Harvey !

Tommy has some serious issues, I feel sorry for Kat .

Sonia annoys me , just in general. Why they chose to get rid of Martin instead of her I do not know!

Sharon and Teddy just don’t work . She’s wasn’t really that bothered about him and the relationship feels so forced and now all of a sudden she’s desperate for him not to find out about Grant … she cheated on him a few weeks into the relationship, she’s clearly not into him so just break it off it’s boring !

Zac and Ruby - I kind of like the idea of them. I didn’t like Ruby after everything that happened before she left , but in her defence she didn’t return with Roman when she knew she could have come and uprooted Stacey and Martin, he bought her back. He pursued a relationship- she was hesitant at first . She asked him repeatedly about how he felt about Stacey and he reassured her he wanted her. She genuinely loved him and always has , she didn’t do anything sneaky this time she just believed him . It’s clear she now knows deep down that he loved Stacey and she’s grieving the man she loved, I think she actually does deserve someone who loves her .

The coincidences in EE are far fetched.
The worst one was Cindy and George etc, but I agree that this one with Nicola and Zac is also really bad.
Jean is nasty to Harvey
He should move out after the funeral and let them all get on with it. Not sure why he wants to stay there tbh and Jean just seems to tolerate him now I think and they should all move on.

It was Sharon who brought Ruby back into their lives when Chrissie Watts told her about Ruby's child.
Sharon arranged to have the birth certificate stolen from Ruby's house and then told Martin about Roman.
Ruby showed up to get the certificate back and it all came out that Roman was ill in hospital.
I'm not sure if Ruby would have told Martin herself especially as he needed the liver transplant, but it was Sharon meddling that kicked it all off initially.
