The coroner phone up today and causes Bianca to have a panic attack.
Although the rest of it wasn't spoken about at all. Surely the Knights have to be involved as they need to get some buildings Insurance through and get it rebuilt ( although insurance was mentioned yesterday tbf, but that was probably contents )

It's true that with Ruby and Stacey off soon they must have to get on with the funeral asap etc
Real life rarely gets in the way of a storyline if the actors are off

Now he needs to ask Julie to visit him or see her at least.

Two people died and a building collapsed, surely the insurance company would want an investigation before they paid out.

It has been lovely seeing Bianca. I guess she will leave when Sonia does.

I’ve looked at a lot of images of Martin’s funeral, typical old school East End, plumed black horses, glass carriage, the lot. All the regulars are there, but couldn’t spot Nigel, nor Sharon. Would expect her to go, as she was close to Martin, and obviously Michelle. Perhaps Grunt the stud muffin hoisted her over his shoulder and swept her off to his villa for fun in the sun? (Or, more likely, she’s just not in the photos released)

I'm sure Sharon will go along to the funeral , but they don't always do what you expect sometimes!

Lily is a gobby nightmare. Have none of the adults in that child's life taught her any manners at all? Of course she hates Ruby (understandably) and has lost her dad, and she is still a child, but why is everyone letting her act as though she is the only person who has lost Martin or gets to decide all the funeral details etc? It was nice that Kim stuck up for Ruby and acknowledged how isolated she and Roman are. She isn't a sympathetic character generally, but you have to feel sorry for her in this storyline.

2 more questions to add to the many from this plotline
How did Sharon's lashes and nails look so immaculate after being buried in an explosion and two days in hospital?
Why is nobody advising Nigel to go home to his wife? or at least call the poor woman who must be frantic.

I am sure I read Bex is coming back. If anything she, his adult daughter, should be the one organising the funeral, not an ex wife, new girlfriend or teenage step daughter

Assuming hers will be a fleeting visit unlike Vicky so maybe Sonia goes off to live with her

Jumpers has been even more pathetic than usual the last couple of episodes. No wonder Sharon went back to the 90s with Grant

I suppose that Lily hates her because Ruby was the one who framed her originally and her mum ended up in prison ( and subsequently 'married' to Eve !)
Stacey can see how much these revelations are hurting her , but Lil can't. Plus why don't we hear anything about her daughter Charli or see Ricky with her ?

Lily saw that ( photoshopped) photo she had up and you could tell she would blow!
It was silly plus the music was dire
Martin wasn't into that kind of music
She clearly didn't know him that well at all really ( as they pointed out)

Phil may well try and get back with Sharon , but someone ( Bianca ? ) will tell him about Grant and it'll all backfire I suppose !
I can see them going round in circles tbh lol

Been looking for a thread about Eastenders !

I have always rooted for Martin and Stacey and I am happy that they told each other how they felt before he died and I never liked him with Ruby .

However , I felt for Ruby up until tonight . She was gone, she didn’t come back with Roman when he was born to try and get Martin back , she stayed away. Then he went and got her back , he pursued a relationship with her because Stacey rejected him and he gave her false hope. Then she did everything she could to make him happy , she asked him if he still loved Stacey and he told her he didn’t. She really did truly love him and she wasn’t blind she saw what everyone did with him and Stacey but he denied it so because she loved him she clung on to what he said.

She lost the man she loved and the father of her child .

so I did feel for her, she was alone and everyone was rallying around Stacey .. but then she seems to just disregard his family , the fact Stacey had a long history with him and 3 children , the fact Sonia has a long history with him and a child and that speech about them 3 missing out on their future and her son not having a dad right in front of Lily.. that was so selfish.

The way she treated Stacey too tonight . She either knows that Lily is telling the truth and therefore can see that Stacey is sacrificing her feelings , or she thinks Lily is lying but still can see that Stacey could have just denied it but she also made a point to say to her that Martin was in love with her …. Then she goes and blames her for his death .

Yeah and the fact she was happy to just not tell Martin about Roman and have him grow up without his dad and then - what 3/4 months - and now she’s talking as if Roman is his only child !

They had also only been together like 7 weeks .

I would love to know where she gets her lashes done - they survived a pub falling on her with not a single gap !

Also , arriving home with immaculate make up ?!

was shocked to see that the standard Eastenders female grieving / sad wardrobe of a plain tracksuit didn’t come out

It’s really on Stacey though as she should not have shared such adult information with Lily or expected her to keep such a secret. Lily is really ‘adultified’, even before she had a baby at 14! But then again Stacey was also a very adultified child as a young cared for her mum so she may not know any better.
