Welcome to the EastEnders spoilers thread, where we post and talk about any EE spoilers we've read about, including those in early release episodes on iPlayer.

Link below to watch episodes on BBC iPlayer - these are usually dropped at 6am on broadcast days - and you can read brief synopses of upcoming episodes:

I read that Grant returns home soon, and that an unnamed character goes with him, which surprises others. I too hope it isn’t Linda!

Could it be Stacey? ( Just because Lacey is having maternity leave?)

Oh, that would make sense, wouldn’t it? Hadn’t occurred to me, thought might be Nigel, but then thought he might want to stay for Phil.

She was the first person that came to mind but I couldn't have any reason why Stacey would leave with him. It could be Ruby. We know she's not going to be in it long term, and perhaps her grieving for Martin won't last long.

Eastie77Returns · 23/02/2025 19:28

Why would Stacey go anywhere with Grant?? Do they even know each other? I’ve never seen them interact.

I assume he’s leaving with Nigel.

Tiredofallthis101 · 23/02/2025 22:26

Maybe Sharon will take the plunge and go with him! Or Phil?

mumofoneAlonebutokay · 23/02/2025 22:40

I think it'll be Nigel

Which would be a shame as I'd love a little nod to him working with fletch on holby

Southeastdweller · 23/02/2025 23:09

Bex is coming back for a short period;

That's better i think, only right

TortolaParadise · 23/02/2025 23:25

Grant and Chelsea - I remember Grant with the original Chelsea!

Grant and Chelsea - I remember Grant with the original Chelsea!

Oh I don’t remember that! Original Chelsea certainly got around. I remember her fling with Jack.

Grant also had a ONS with Kathy, Jane and god knows who else I can’t recall. He clearly doesn’t have his brother’s super sperm as he only has two kids to show for it lol.

storminabuttercup · 24/02/2025 06:17

While we are throwing crazy suggestions about could Grant offer to help Sonia and Bianca escape walford for a bit to get over the trauma of Reiss? They are both leaving and surely Bianca's lost her flat in MK by now

Eastie77Returns · 24/02/2025 06:32

Perhaps, although it was only a few days ago that Bianca was screaming at him and calling him a psychopath who basically killed Tiffany. Still a few days is a lifetime in EE😂

Bianca’s MK flat situation is a mystery, I couldn’t work out if it’s a council property and if not how she pays the rent as she doesn’t work. Where does her son (Morgan?) live?

I suppose Sonia leaving means Vicki can live in her house although it’s worth a cool million at least so it would make sense for her to sell and buy herself a smaller place somewhere cheaper.

storminabuttercup · 24/02/2025 06:44

I would imagine it's council property but would they allow it to be empty so long? Mind you they probably wouldn't know. I also thought she'd 'borrowed' the taco van but nobody seems to be missing that

Wild guesses aside I think Nigel will go with Grant, I'd have hoped he'd stick around for Phil but guess he knows he may not be much help although I also don't see Grant being great with dementia patient either.

Phil has lots of support, seemingly mostly Linda who he listens to but not sure how good that'll be for her recovery as she's so recently sober and now homeless with little kids

the80sweregreat · 24/02/2025 07:09

Morgan ( Bianca's son) was mentioned when Whitney went up to MK that time and she said he was with a girlfriend. Maybe he went back to the flat or something like that? He ignored his mum for months whilst she was locked up though , so who knows ?

Eastie77Returns · 24/02/2025 07:52

It didn’t make sense that apparently none of Bianca’s several kids were concerned while she was missing for months but there you go. Maybe they were making the point that she’s not really a hands on involved mum so they didn’t really notice/care.

The Taco van was another mystery…where did it come from and where is it now…

I really don’t think Linda should be long term support for Phil when she’s not 5 mins out of rehab. She needs to focus on herself and the invisible kids. But I do like their friendship. I hope the writers don’t ruin it by turning it into a relationship, it would be nice to have two central characters who are just friends.

Southeastdweller · 24/02/2025 08:10

Linda and her kids have been taken in by Sonia.

I was thinking whilst watching today’s episode how amazing it is that they kept it secret for weeks about Martin. I did feel a bit sorry for Ruby today and I’ll probably be in a minority of one later about her when you all watch it!

OP posts:
GoldMoon · 24/02/2025 08:20

I've never really liked the Ruby character , and watch @7.30pm so can't comment on today's episode but Ruby should be ever in Martin's debt whatever is said / happens because without him he she probably wouldn't have Roman for long and his legacy is giving his newly found son part of his liver .

Shellingbynight · 24/02/2025 08:58

I think Bianca said the taco van had belonged to her neighbour. I can’t remember what happened to it, probably something to do with Reiss.

It is sometimes hard to feel sorry for Ruby but I probably will today.

the80sweregreat · 24/02/2025 09:14

Reiss moved the Taco van after he locked her up. It was seen outside the station I think ?
It all went vague / forgotten about after that.
Whoever owed it wasn't too bothered.

Shellingbynight · 24/02/2025 09:22

Yes that sounds familiar now you say it, 80s.

Snapespeare · 24/02/2025 09:26

It's a tough watch today...the grief. Stacy and Sonia both at 100% in their performances. Sharon and Kathy too..

Ian blaming Cindy for everything and Phil and Grant were very well written.

It's interesting - focusing on women in this episode in terms of family and their reactions to Martin's death - but also the relationship between Phil and Grant - masculinity and the expression of grief, although Martin didn't have a lot of men around him in terms of family relationships .

the80sweregreat · 24/02/2025 09:36

I'm surprised to read that Phil is in it as I assumed he was taken away to hospital or even sectioned and be off screen for a while.
I can imagine it's a sad one and must be strange seeing the Vic all boarded up too. I'll watch it later on.
I wonder if Kojo will go back to Ghana ?
Not sure I like the look of new head Vicki and her boyfriend I've seen on facebook but never judge a book I suppose .

cramptramp · 24/02/2025 10:09

Just cried through my breakfast and today's episode.

the80sweregreat · 24/02/2025 10:12

It is so sad isn't it ?
Some good acting , especially by Stacey

the80sweregreat · 24/02/2025 10:27

I suppose that Phil turning on Grant will speed up his departure.
Everyone really acted their socks off , it was good that Zac went to see Ruby as nobody is worried about her and Roman. None of it was her fault.
