The White Lotus - series three - starts February 17th

The Emmy-award winning HBO original series, which offers an inside look at the powerful and wealthy as they navigate complex personal dynamics and face potentially dangerous experiences while on vacation, returns for its third season this month.

"Seeking peace can be a trip," reads the tagline for this season, which was created, written and directed by former "Survivor" contestant Mike White.
This time around, viewers will be whisked away to an "exclusive" resort in Thailand, where an eclectic group of guests and resort employees will play, and likely misbehave, over the span of a week. "The White Lotus" Season 3 guests include a wealthy businessman and his family, three longtime friends who haven't seen each other in a while on a girls' trip and "rugged man with a chip on his shoulder" and his girlfriend, among others.

Anyone else looking forward to this? Starts on Monday and will be shown on Now and Sky. No watching on demand as all episodes will be dropped weekly.

Agree, @friskybivalves. I think she appears in some photos and video with ALW and I’d wondered who she was. Must indeed have been gutting to go through auditions, prep, being there - and then find yourself dropped.

Best lines of each season for me would be
S1:Treat the guests like they are sensitive children
S2: Do you know these gays?
S3 You're a Libra rising for god's sake

Oh shame, that would be a great talking point to wear/accessorise on holiday...DH has a tshirt with a niche film reference and the coolest fellow passenger commented on it in the checkin queue at the airport

Judging by the thread, I think I've liked this series more than most. Not as much as Series 2 but I think it captured the common tropes in much the way it did in previous series. I hope Belinda makes it through and I don't find it hard to believe she would have one or two upmarket items in her wardrobe considering her clientele. I wouldn't be surprised if Jason Isaacs and Lachy end up staying on to do monking whilst Piper goes home as its no longer 'her' thing.

I love Sam Rockwell in this, have liked him since he played the drug addled Eric Knox. I wonder if he will turn up at the resort with Rick?

I have no idea who the murderer will be - the resort is drowning under red herrings.

One other things - does anyone else get Twin Peaks vibes from White Lotus or is it just me? I think Mike White creates some of that "WTF is going on" vibe.
