The White Lotus - series three - starts February 17th

The Emmy-award winning HBO original series, which offers an inside look at the powerful and wealthy as they navigate complex personal dynamics and face potentially dangerous experiences while on vacation, returns for its third season this month.

"Seeking peace can be a trip," reads the tagline for this season, which was created, written and directed by former "Survivor" contestant Mike White.
This time around, viewers will be whisked away to an "exclusive" resort in Thailand, where an eclectic group of guests and resort employees will play, and likely misbehave, over the span of a week. "The White Lotus" Season 3 guests include a wealthy businessman and his family, three longtime friends who haven't seen each other in a while on a girls' trip and "rugged man with a chip on his shoulder" and his girlfriend, among others.

Anyone else looking forward to this? Starts on Monday and will be shown on Now and Sky. No watching on demand as all episodes will be dropped weekly.

Such a boring episode again. Nothing really happened and everything that happened was completely predictable.

I am overall so disappointed, I loved season 1 and 2. So much more happening in both seasons, better storylines and characters. At this stage I find Saxon the most amusing.

I think Belinda will survive.

I’m half way through the latest episode and I just don’t think I can see it through. I’ve never been so gutted over a series. How could they get it so wrong? What a wasted opportunity.

I too think Tim will end up staying at the monastery. I don’t think this series is benefitting from being made longer - it’s always watchable, but it’s dragging a bit now. Gaitok is just so frustrating, he should have told Tim he’d caught him on cctv. I hope Mook will turn out to have more of a role than just bland and pretty- given she’s a big star I hope so. The Ratliffs remain uninteresting. Just hope there’s a bit more action in the last few!

It was underwhelming save for Rick’s priceless expressions during the ladyboy scene. Those made the whole episode worth watching.

Otherwise - why didn’t Belinda just pick up the phone to Interpol herself and say, er, that fella you want to question is right here? She’s meant to be a bit ballsy but just furrows her brow a lot and looks quizzical.

I'm enjoying it. Loved series 1 and 2 but I'm liking this one too. It is slower, granted.

usually white lotus thrills us and intrigues is. Tbh I don’t care who got shot and by who at the moment

the 3 female friends are letting their hair down - tho may have been the drugs

not sure why Belinda hasn’t shopped Greg in esp as she loved jennifer’s character

This season has been very slow. Still missing Tania 😅

Tho the brothers kissing. There will be regret when come off their high and assume younger brother cud g take drugs so he was more willing and did seem right into kissing his brother 🤮🤮

Sam Rockwell is one of the most talented and respected actors of his generation. I think he'll win an Emmy for his performance in this week's episode.

He won an Oscar and countless other awards for Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.

I did - with huge enjoyment - but had never heard of Zimmerman!

I used to work in the TV industry, any kind of big / unusual speeches or scenes by famous actors always go down well with peers. The Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama is what I'm predicting he'll win later this year.
