I’ve watched the first episode. Anyone else up for this?

The other thing that has been really bothering me about Britney is the way she keeps mentioning that she can’t write Danielle’s name down, then putting her hands over her face, it looks like this is something that’s really worrying her & she’s battling with, so it’s obviously something that’s she keeps thinking about & thinking she might have to do at some point, & that’s why she keeps mentioning it. It’s almost like she’s trying to convince herself.

Is there a reason they all take it so seriously rather than just remembering it’s a game? I know they’re there for the money plus they’re also in the public eye so we do expect drama but they just seem so upset when they vote anyone off that’s Faithful. Is it because they know each other from the respective shows like Danielle and Britney are Big Brother for example

I'm going to watch this evening! I'm also enjoying it more than the UK one. I think this UK series was just not a good one. The faithfuls who were left over by the end were boring/stupid/not that nice. I didn't really have anyone to root for, other than Alexander and it was always blatantly obvious he wouldn't win as"normal Brits" hate posh people for whatever reason.

The cliffhanger was so mean.

I totally didn't get how the voting switched to Iver so swiftly: the editing of the table talk is so weird sometimes.

Oh god it's so frustrating when it gets near the end and you can see them doing really stupid stuff. I can't stand Danielle, "I'm so hurt". I really hate it when people are very emotionally manipulative and both her and Britney are ridiculous. I would quite enjoy them to get to the end together and screw each other over like the Australian one. Do we know what happens if the game finishes with two traitors?

I have found it hard to get engaged and excited with this series due to the 1 episode a week set up. I forget what's happened after a week.

Right finished the episode now. Can't believe I have to wait another week to find out! Do you think Britney changed her vote? I feel like she must have done otherwise the cliffhanger would be them tossing a coin!

It will probably be fairly dull if she hasn't. I can't see the faithful defeating her and D.
If she has this could be Best. Series. Ever. But it really is so annoying to wait. That's what they had to do in Victorian times.

I think Britney might have changed her vote, because I think she misinterpreted Dolores looking at Danielle and then back to Britney as an indication that she'd changed her vote to Danielle, which of course she hadn't. I hope so, otherwise it would be a pretty annoying cliffhanger if the beginning of the next episode is that it's stalemate and they have to toss a coin.

I’ve just caught up. I loved Tom’s self appraisal of how well he had done when he left 😂😂 WTF was Gabby wearing; also, she’s the one who makes endless cups of tea so I don’t know why Ivar was getting a hard time for that!
Agree that a coin toss would be a better cliffhanger. I think Britney changed her vote because she thought Dolores had, too. This is the first time I have had to wait a week because I saved the earlier shows and binged them. Not a fan

Omg Ive watched. Is it wrong to say a silly programme with American celebrities has slightly restored my faith in humanity after the dire people who won the UK version?

Spoilers again - that was a very satisfying ending, with only Deloris having slightly ridden everyone else's coattails to get there. And really satisfying to see the downfall of meanies Danielle and Britney. Really well done them all for trusting each other, that was a nervewracking leap of faith! Easily the best US Traitors and generally one of the all-time greatest. What to watch now? I'm going to have to find a dodgy link for NZ2 - has anyone seen it?

I just watched it!! Was very tense in parts, but I’m so happy with the ending! Loved this series in the end.
The seer worked much better in this one too, & I do think Britney did the right thing about not pretending Gaby was a traitor. But I am so glad they voted her out anyway, never liked her much & would have hated if she won all the money for herself. Was also so happy to see Danielle get voted off.

I was so pleased at 4 greens. It was lovely!

I’ve just watched it, I’m so pleased all 4 of them chose green. Can I ask, I didn’t watch the UK version much so don’t know how doing the seer turned out there. Was it better or worse in this version?

The seer was definitely a poisoned chalice in the UK version.

I was very pleased to see a Dylan/Gabby win. I didn't really care about Ivar & Delores but it was nice that they all trusted each other at the end. And the downfall of Danielle finally.

I do think Brit played the seer well. It did feel like she was getting close but I think if she'd chosen to target Ivar instead, she may have got more traction. Though doubtful she could have come back from Danielle's hint.

All in all a much better series than the British one this year, even the final task was better.

I watched NZ2 @Umbilicat . It's good, intelligent faithfuls thankfully!

Yes I was so pleased when Delores went for Green and I felt that Dylan, Ivar and Gabby had all been quite astute at points and deserved it. I feel like the edited some nice bits with Delores in the last episode to make you feel happy for her as well. I loved Gabby's comment which I felt was so on point in comparison to Jake and Leann "if you are saying someone is not faithful it's to make more money" as this was exactly how the UK final felt to me - two dim people who just wanted as much money as possible. Same with the horrible end to US series 2 when they voted that woman out for no reason.

How do you watch NZ series 2? I really enjoyed series 1.

Good outcome. I didn't even mind Dolores getting a share, even though she didn't contribute anything to the game, apart from inadvertently influencing Britney to change her vote. Danielle's banishment was very satisfying, especially with Britney being the one to deliver the final blow. Great series!

watched it this morning and i was so tense waiting for Dylan to say he was a faithful even though i knew he was! what a great guy, him and Gabby have been a revelation to me and love them both.

Also, even though he’s apparently a douchebag, Tom made the show so entertaining!

i can’t believe BBC are not releasing the reunion episode today though.

oh and was i the only one rolling her eyes when Ivar was going in about being on the papers? i honestly haven’t heard about guy in my life.
