I’ve watched the first episode. Anyone else up for this?

I’m all caught up. Up to episode 8 I was loving it for being so brutal but episode 9 has just left me a bit sad and flat. I liked Carolyn and do not want horrible Danielle to win. Strongly hoping Britney gets her out, the whole best friends thing is so OTT. I enjoyed Dolores wanting a glass of wine!
Dylan said that Alan had said there was going to be a twist so I guess they are going to do the Seer. Hopefully it will work better than it did in the UK. Did anybody hear Alan say that? I did not.

Yes Alan did imply they were going to introduce the Seer next episode. I hope it's going to work better than the UK version, but it's going to be totally dependent on who actually gets the card

I'm loving Tom Sandoval and his level of arrogance and self-importance. I'm sure Alan could arrange 2 places at the round table, one for him, the other for his inflated ego 😂

Saw the book The Seer on a shelf so it's coming and like everyone else I hope it doesn't fall flat like the Uk version.

Sorry to see Carolyn go. Danielle is giving herself too much credit as the mastermind of her exit. All the shaking and floor display was ludicrous!!

I think Brtney will accept- she won't want to go out - plus she knows there's several suspcios eyes on Danielle now, so she could dispatch her quite easily.

L9oks like the Sheer is next - I really can't imagine with this lot it will fall flat. Don't think they know how to do flat 😄

The Seer would have been fine in the UK if Frankie had chosen anybody other than Charlotte. Fingers crossed for good choosing, whoever gets it!

The thing with the Seer seems to be that whoever is involved cannot now be trusted by the rest so both are voted out. It’s a poisoned chalice.

The Seer really backfired on the UK version - I hope it works better here

Just watched (finally). Sad Carolyn went but she was way too obvious at that chess game. They HAVE to be looking at Danielle now or they are idiots. The round table was just them going at eachother (although apparently the real things are much longer so maybe less obvious without editing?!). I kind of hope Brittany throws her under a bus. But then I think with the seer/game theory ending it could easily be another two faithful win.

I have started to really like Ivar the random royal and I like Gabby and Dylan so would be sad to see then go. Not bothered about the rest of them!

What I find funny is when they're all in the same room and start discussing how 'we have to do this....' to get the traitors out - they sit there all innocently believing all of each other are faithfuls. They have forgotten that the rules mean two of that small group must be traitors!

I'm up to date and loving it! It's camp as Christmas and they don't give a toss about the money clearly.

Sad to see Carolyn go.

I'm hoping they pick up on Gabby's comment about traitor Vs traitor. Surely they have to discuss Danielle's theatrics. Can't stand her now coming across as a right smug cow.

I think some of them know Danielle is a traitor but they are keeping her around to get her to take them to the end. Remember most of them are tv and game savvy.

It's so hard to believe most of them are savvy about anything 😉but I get what you mean.

I've just caught up. I'm really enjoying it, more so than the UK one this year. They mostly don't take it too seriously and I think their overall level of intelligence/savvy seems to be better than the UK faithfuls who I found v annoying in S3. I basically can't stand any of them who are overemotional or take things personally so I hated livvy/leann etc. obviously Carolyn is very emotional but I just liked her anyway.

I felt really sorry for Carolyn, the chess task just screwed her over. I was impressed by how well Dylan worked that out. I don't like Danielle, I feel like all the discord between the traitors was basically her fault? I feel like by recruiting Britney she's basically ensured that the faithfuls will win, as I don't think that any of the faithfuls would want to take one or both of them right to the end, they all have doubts about them both. Ironically Britney being there as a faithful at the end might have allowed Danielle to win and vote 2:1 against someone else as she's the only person who seems to completely trust her!

Tom S is making me want to watch his show, I've not idea what it's even about.

Also, I meant to add I feel like the "not knowing who the traitors are if they leave at the end" thing means we will only ever get X2 people at the end? Because why wouldn't they keep voting people out, they will always have doubt? I don't want to spoiler S2 of the us one if people haven't watched it,but the contrast between how that concluded and the recent UK one stuck out to me

So I’m gonna do predictions.

Britney will say yes to recruitment.
They’ll kill Ivar - Britney will pick him.
Danielle will be banished. It’s too obvious.
Dylan will win the Seer and will choose Britney what with Danielle being banished
Both Dylan and Britney will be banished at the final roundtable and the faithfuls will win

@JandamiHash who does this leave left over? Delores. I can't remember who the other person is!

If they had seen the UK version (I know this isn't the case!) they would be desperately trying not to win the seer!
