I thought Imys lids were too heavy looking for the pot. I wonder why they all chose feathers, I think sticks, twigs and leaves would have been better combustibles for insects. If sticks leaves and twigs would work that is…..

I worked out it costs me about 5€ to make a bog standard cup in my garage, that's without counting my time.

Does that include firing?

DD had a go at pot throwing at Wedgwood and it turns out she's actually pretty good for a novice. She's just asked for a wheel...

5€ is literally just the materials and electricity (not taking into account kiln wear and tear etc.).

For a first wheel I'd say avoid anything on Amazon. She'd be better of getting a decent second hand one (£300ish), or looking into Small Wheel Ceramics who make their own mini wheel in the UK (£200ish).

Not sure who to go home... the ones I liked the least were Diane's but Imy or Short Beardy Guy (is he Stephen?) I think.

Not one of the better weeks. None of the pots are particularly attractive although I appreciate the hard work that has gone into them.

My current excuse is that I need to buy a respirator as its very toxic apparently. Its half term in 3 weeks so I'll hopefully be brave enough by then 😅😅
