Anyone watching?

Watching the ads in the breaks, I gather this programme is mostly watched by women between the ages of 40 and 65.

stilldumdedumming · 09/03/2025 22:07

Or James!

They going to give it to James despite the handle, aren’t they?

Maybe that's why they said go with heart.

AlicePottery · 09/03/2025 22:07

Steve's was the better pot from a technical point of view.

It’s great seeing the group together

They so are. (I'm team Steve)

Wolfcub · 09/03/2025 22:07

We called it

Tablefor4 · 09/03/2025 22:08

Wolfcub · 09/03/2025 22:06

Yes

Which is sort of fair for the series, but not particularly for the final.

BeaLola · 09/03/2025 22:08

Steve was so robbed

MrsDrDear · 09/03/2025 22:08

Ah well they were all really worthy.

Quebeccles · 09/03/2025 22:08

Really sad for Steve ☹️

HeadNorth · 09/03/2025 22:09

I love James but Steve was robbed

Wolfcub · 09/03/2025 22:09

I think this is the closest final ever

TinyMouseTheatre · 09/03/2025 22:09

People have been eliminated for far less than that handle. Steve was robbed.

MrsDrDear · 09/03/2025 22:10

I would buy Steve's it was lovely.

When is Sewing Bee on does anyone know?

RaininSummer · 09/03/2025 22:10

Travesty. Steve should have won.

Turophilic · 09/03/2025 22:11

You are all my people. James is an amazing potter but I think he shouldn't have won.

Tablefor4 · 09/03/2025 22:11

"heartfelt message" - that your sister like aliens

Fatloss · 09/03/2025 21:58

Steve’s is brilliant, not keen on the designs for the others and they have cracks. Do you recognise popcorn- I’m not sure?

I thought the popcorn was amazingly realistic.

Fatloss · 09/03/2025 22:12

As soon as they said it was on emotion rather than the quality of the build. I don’t think I’m emotional enough

Quebeccles · 09/03/2025 22:12

Coming back (can you tell I’m annoyed?) to say that giving first place to a damaged pot because of 'feelings' seems pretty questionable to me. Bah humbug.

Totally agree!! Sad for Steve who did not have the problems that either James or Natalie had with their amphorae. Also I really loved the animated elements in Steve's amphora which doesn't seemed to have adequately taken into account by the judges - plus I preferred the base colour that he used. 🌹

LillyPJ · 09/03/2025 22:14

I am surprised James won (loved his amphora but thought the handle ruined his chances) but really pleased he did.

JudgementalRaccoon · 09/03/2025 22:14

From the moment they were so underwhelming in their response to Steve I knew they were going to go with James, and their ‘go with the heart’ comment sealed it. Feel really sad for Steve.

stilldumdedumming · 09/03/2025 22:14

I do think Steve's make was a bit too like his day job.

On another note we enjoy portrait artist of the year and recently I saw one of the winning pieces in the flesh. It looked so much more moving than on the telly. So there's that...
