So many women pregnant, is there something in the water?
Wonder if they'll have a son or a daughter?
Joel's story lingers on, that's really too bad.
And now we have to put up with his mum and his dad.

Lauren's gonna do time, I wonder how long.
I guess she deserves it as she has done wrong.
Gail's gonna leave soon, after 50 whole years.
It'll be such a shame, there will many tears!

Bethany's putting on a brave face, though she's had a tough ride.
Daniel's still boring, and Kit's always snide.
Daisy's always got a snooty little pout.
And looks like she might just knock someone out..

Toyah and Nick have been secretly smooching.
Leanne knows all about it though, as she's always mooching.
Debbie's so funny, and Eileen's so droll
And Roy, a real favourite, is one of the best characters of all

Carla and Swain are getting quite close.
Not such a secret now, and nearly everyone knows.
Mason the baddie has gone quite good.
And Betsy always acts like she's Queen of the Hood!

Not much more to review for now.
But it's happy new year to us all.
I wonder how the Corrie cast will celebrate?
I bet they will have a ball.

If Aadi original has been replaced then I will be proper pissed off. He was one of my favourites but I suppose we have to give the new one a chance. I can't imagine who else it could be with Dev if not Aadi.

I haven’t heard or read anything about the Aadi actor leaving. I don’t know who Dev is with in the picture, never seen him before

I’ll be really shocked if they’ve given Aadi a new head. They normally only do that if the original ( usually child actor ) is pretty bad.
The original Aadi is a good actor.

Sarah is being pretty nasty to Daisy. Surely it's Daniel she should have a problem with if he's having cosy chats with Daisy and upsetting her. And Bethany is being quite bitchy as well considering she's won the supposed prize that is Daniel. Always seems to be rubbing Daisy's nose in it. Makes them both very unlikeable.

Some people seem to think that the more relationships you've had, the better placed you are to give advice. Like my dad, who, when my last relationship ended after nearly 3 years told me "imagine how much harder it is for your sister. She's had her heart broken far more times". He's since told me I should ask her for advice on meeting someone.

I'm not sure that multiple week long relationships equal multiple heartbreaks! I mean, sure she was upset but it's not the same!

Sarah is absolutely dreadful,has she forgotten her awful behaviour to Adam, sneaking around in hotels with Damon and she has the cheek to speak to Daniel like that.

Sarah is awful, she was terrible to Daisy. Carla lying to Swain is ridiculous. Coronation Street is just a bore now.

Yet again an episode centred around hospitals and police officers. Swain needs sacking, even by Corrie standards she is useless.

WTF was Carla doing? I thought Roy had been leaving messages for Swain so when she returns his call he'll say where she is. Drama for the sake of it.

Maureen Lipman is a great actress and Corrie struck gold when she agreed to join up. However is it realistic to think Evelyn can do a uni law degree which I think is at least 4 years. Not sure of her Evelyn age and I'm all for adult education etc (I did this myself in my mid forties) but the writers seem to be scraping the barrel somewhat with their ideas right across the board. 🤔

I agree it is a daft storyline for Evelyn. Just one amongst dozens of other daft storylines. They are really short of good older characters now, Ken Audrey and Rita are not going to be around much longer and who is going to take over? Brian??

I am convinced that the Corrie writers have just given up, and have now created a secret competition between them to see who can come up with the most ludicrous storylines. I think the Carla/Swain one is probably in the lead at the moment

I just hope they don't do another teenage pregnancy with Mason and Betsy.

The original Aadi actor left years ago. The current Aadi is the third actor to play him and has been doing so since 2019.
