I'm giving 2 votes to Montell as she was excellent and doesn't deserve a DO again.

And one to JB because even though he "should" be safe, it's getting to that stage where a leader could be in the DO. He was brilliant tonight. And Lauren is fab!

Sorry, but I think Lewis Capaldi is a terrible singer. When his song "Someone you Loved" was in the charts I heard it quite a few times and didn't really like it. Thought he mumbled the words and did not put any feeling in to them. I then heard it sung by someone else (can't remember who) and thought "what is this lovely song" and it brought a lump to my throat. I googled it and was amazed that it was the Capaldi song

I gave all my votes to Sarah & DH gave his to Chris

Of those left I would like Montell to go

As for who is in the dance off I'm worried

3 for Pete because I love an underdog. I'm hoping Chris will be safe because let's face it what he does every week should have everyone in amazement.

Tasha 40 looked like a pro dance but still lacks chemistry
JB 39 classic Charleston but didn't do it for me (like AJ/Clara/Rhys's did)
Montell 37 classic QS but again didn't do it for me (Let down by QS this series)
Sarah 36 didn't see chemistry/overmarked for me
Chris 33 his worst dance so far and pity points/overmarking annoys me
Jamie 32 did very well on 2 days' training and nice routine, made it look easy
Pete 29 improved frame and although lacked drive, I enjoyed it just not music

Sambathon was an odd one for sure

If Chris's and Pete's votes are as high as some are saying they avoid DO. Will be interesting how it pans out.
Probabywarz Dadwarz and Dogwarz have all been played now.
JB's and Montell's were classic songs (usually go down well with audience)

My votes went to Chris, Sarah and Montell.

The sambathon felt very unfair to Chris - must be so hard for him trying to dance while having no idea where anybody else is.

And remarkably good at working out the correct judges' voting for the 2018 Lindyhopathon.

Lauren looked like Amanda Barrie in a Carry On film.

Vito looked like he was in a Dorothy Perkins jumpsuit. (And still attractive.)

Sarah looked like a she-cat trying to entice a tomcat into shenanigans when she stuck that leg up in the air.

I was so ready to love Montell doing a proper quickstep but the choreography was too muted and she was strangely underpowered.

JB was really enjoyable. I feel so sorry for Amy.

I guess they had to show Aljaz's daughter to explain what he is blethering on about every week. Please go back to being one of my favourites, Aljaz.

Bruno was my favourite judge.

That's such a pity. You can still enjoy watching her even if you don't support her. She does the most lovely things with her arms.

I'm supporting Chris. Yes, he might not be the best dancer but what he is achieving is absolutely brilliant and he has improved so much from day 1.

With regards to Tasha I'm torn - my daughter goes to dance college and has been learning Latin. She says it's one of the hardest things she has done and they are all rubbish at it 😂. However; her level of rubbish looks very different to my level of rubbish (in terms of dance) so whilst I think Tasha does have a definite advantage with a dance background, ballroom is a very different style.

JB has done so well with a new partner, it looked like Alijaz had ran out of steam on the dance off.

Me too. I’m in awe of both him and Diane. I used to have a weekly cry to ‘This is Us’ (cathartic) now it is Chris and Diane 😭

Both Tasha and Aljaz were flagging by the end of the sambathon. On these occasions the last slot of the show is a double edged sword.

I heard recently (Craig on ITT this week?) that one of the criteria in marking a sambathon is covering the dance floor.

In the bits I saw of Chris and Dianne’s dance they were always close together, by necessity probably.
