Subtitles are generally atrocious. Spelling mistakes and sometimes completely different words come up, at times hilarious ones 😂

I often have them on (noisy children!) so see the mistakes a lot.

They probably know they’ll be attending either a wedding or a funeral in any given Christmas episode, so just go for a hat that’s adaptable!

This is true but in real life most 20 somethings are sensible about contraception and pill is very reliable

I think in RL that younger women and women of fertile age have realised that they carry a far greater burden of pregnancy than their beaux.

Not that contraception is an easy option for many women - but in the city that Corrie's supposedly set it, and with Dr Gadass's 24/7 ministrations, it would be highly available, all the way up the tree to Levonelle, ellaOne, mifepristone and misoprostol.

I wonder sometimes what message Corrie is trying to put out. As pp have said, how about a message about STDs, and where to get them treated? (Spoiler: as early as possible, down the clinic.)

It’s just boring lazy writing. How many times has this happened now (in recentish years) - The other woman getting pregnant or partner not being father.

I agree EastEnders was a million times better than Corrie on xmas day. Apart from the dreary storylines Corrie always looks so cheap nowadays.

Suranne is great and I used to love Karen, but having seen her again in Classic recently she was a massive annoyance. I think I only liked her because Tracy was so unbearable!

Did Tracy go back to Spain?
