I don't want Frankie to be ill. I don't like Joel's parents and Max keeps having personality transplants.
I want Bobby to be the dad, so Carla could be a de factor granny, and dump Betsy and her mum. Carla, Bobby, Lauren and Frankie in a household would be brilliant, especially if Peter returns. Thank you writers.

Agree with get rid of Betsy. I'm quite enjoying evil, plotting Leanne at the moment though.

Blimey, didn’t take long for Gail to get an appointment to see Dr Badass for sedatives did it.

And Kit must have interviewed most of his neighbours by now. I’m sure there used to be a rule in the police that they couldn’t be based in the area they lived in, probably too difficult to implement now with shortages.

Betsy is so rude. She needs a metaphorical slap.

Please not Bobby, can't bear his character and the actor isn't great either. Don't want any reason for him to sow his seeds and DNA in The Street.

I just assume it's Joel's baby and therefore the reason for DeeDee pregnancy and opens up the avenue for a grandparent custody storyline.

I've liked the Leanne/Toyah/Nick triangle.

And yes to Mason - 40 years ago he'd have been just my type!

I thought it was really mean of Audrey to threaten Gail about marrying Jesse.

I know its annoying when people do this but…i was knee deep in making potato salads this evening so missed most of the first half and i cant remember if i saw Fridays either! Can someone tell me how Toyah and Nick found out please?

Leanne pretended she’d just seen the bank account had been fleeced as Nick returned. She deduced only she, Nick and Toyah had access to the account so Kit appeared instantly and arrested Toyah. The account name had Toyah’s initials and password Rose2001 so taken as evidence of her guilt.

Bobby might not be ideal but I really want a multi generation household headed by Carla. And Peter.

My neighbour rang the GP at 8.30 this morning and got an appointment for midday today (to get some antibiotics for a throat infection.) I nearly passed out. Haven't known this happen since the noughties. Very likely a cancellation, but still! Doesn't happen often eh?!

I used to love Leanne but nowadays she is just dreary.

Some nice scenes with Gail, although it is such a poor exit. She gets about two minutes screen time per episode.

The Audrey-Gail scene was daft. In normal life there would be no question of dragging your 80 year old mother to France, you'd come back to visit her and the rest of your family. But of course in soapland the gates slam behind you and you forget your entire life in Weatherfield.

As so often happens, it feels as though you've missed a bit.

I don't know either. I think I must have missed a bit because suddenly Toyah and Nick were kissing again and discussing Leanne's plot that they weren't supposed to know about.

Toyah knew she hadn’t done it so it was obvious it was Leanne. T &N had several minutes in the office together before Leanne stormed in so Toyah must have convinced Nick then.

Yeah, it does feel a bit like a short scene was cut doesn't it?! When Nick cottoned on that it was Leanne up to no good! (And that Toyah is innocent,)

Just a few short months ago we all hated school bully Mason. Now he's become liked by many including me. I think the young actor has a good future. As for Betsy she's dire. Yes it's only acting but the character is embarrassingly bad.

Nick walked into the bistro and asked Amy where Leanne was. Amy told him she was in the back dealing with the problem with the accounts. Nick looked stunned. 'Oh. I thought you knew.' quoth Amy.

Summat like that anyway.

I think the 'missed scene' was to make it yet another twist. We thought Nick believed Leanne but "oh no he didn't"! And hallelujah to that!
