😁 Wow that brings back a memory! Many years ago I was at my desk at work and told my colleagues I'd dreamed of Ken Barlow. We used to discuss what we'd watched on TV as you do but my disclosure re the Barlow heartthrob (not!!) was my downfall. I got teased and ribbed mercilessly for weeks after. 🙄

Glad that Ken wasn’t the delivery driver in my dream @MrsGrimshaw ! That would have worried me more, he would have never made it up the drive with all the crates! Very vivid, Mason had his red backpack on, and the green company overall, and was very polite and efficient.
I dislike Lisa and Carla, zero chemistry. Completely agree with pp about no true friendships, not a patch on classic corrie.

I've still not watched Friday's episode. I used to so look forward to each episode that I'd watch them all live. Now, I'm just not that bothered.

I am loving Swarla. It made me go a bit weak at the knees on Friday and I am a married (to a man) woman!

Who gives a feck about mason (with all the bad things he did) and Betsy

The actress who plays Betsy is SO bad IMO. She is a poor actress IMO. Her 'I'm so upset and scared' voice sounds so naff. I can barely bear to watch her!

And Sam is awful too. Dreadful actor.

Yeah I thought that was stupid. The van driver was inconsiderate but Chesney was totally at fault by blocking them in and then doing the shopping. He should have just found another space

Lord, Betsy was dreadful in that scene when she was phoning the ambulance. Errrrrrmmm iii need to errrr, iiii neeeed an er, an ambulance, eeeeerrrrmmm it's for errr, for my boss, eerrr, yeh eeerrrmm. It was interminable 🙄

Who is Gemma's never heard of before "mate"? How can she afford to go swanning off to Portsmouth by train when they're always skint? Never mind, as Chesney said, Joseph can help with quads. Poor sod!

It was an episode where everyone did stupid things. Betsy and the keys, Carla and her head (and Ryan and Roy leaving her alone), Chesney and his parking, Gemma suddenly visiting a mystery friend. Not to mention David and Shona deciding baby Frankie is just what they need.

Has Shona suddenly forgotten about Clayton? And where has Gail disappeared to while all this family drama is going on?

Some of the words and phrases the characters use are ridiculous. Did David say " up the podge" about being pregnant? Never heard that one!

Yeah Linda is very 💩y in how she is with Jake in comparison to how she is with Joseph.

The random though came to me while watching Corrie last night.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen Gail in Roy’s Rolls. I did say it was random. 🤣

As far as I’m aware Carla and Tracy are almost the same age. Tracy was born in 1977 and Carla was born in 1975. That’s no age difference at all when you’re an adult. Carla acts a lot older though. A lot of the antics out of Tracy are still very childish, IMO
