This is our tenth anniversary of sharing our thoughts on Our Girl series one and have subsequently watched the other three series, followed by Soldier Soldier, The Musketeers, Spooks and Hustle so thought it was time to try something different. I just want to shake Daisy! I know she's not meant to be the brghtest of characters but has she no compassion, knowing William isn't going to make it.

Matthew tries to release Lavinia from her promise to marry him because he can't be a proper husband. All very noble and sad.

Alert...Garage conversation. They shot the Tsar!! Of course, Tom is a bit of a Bolshevik ...er...socialist. Once again he tries to exact a promise from her.

Sir Richard tricks Mrs Bates into signing away her rights to the story about Lady Mary and the Turkish gentleman.

Meanwhile, Mrs Patmore and Mrs Hughes are pressurising poor Daisy. She feels awful about William believing she loves him. Ahh...poor William he wants Daisy to marry him so that she will be his widow with a pension. So sad, but so kind.

William such a caring lad.

Very good of William to try to ensure Daisy gets a widow's war pension. She is so ridiculously naive.

I always leave the door open for any passer by to hear me when I want to have a really good sob.
