This is our tenth anniversary of sharing our thoughts on Our Girl series one and have subsequently watched the other three series, followed by Soldier Soldier, The Musketeers, Spooks and Hustle so thought it was time to try something different. Time has moved on as it usually doesn't in Downton. Now it's April 1917.

Lord G is very testy today.

Lord G is not in a good mood. He wants to be part of the war effort.

William has been called up.

William is stupidly excited about being called up. Surely, he ought to realise by now that it's blooming horrible out there.

O'brien is being all humble and willing

Cora really is such a gullible ninny at times. She is played by O'Brien left right and centre.

You just can't imagine some young teenager being excited about being conscripted these days, can you?

Meanwhile Lord G is feeling sorry for himself. I can't believe that by 1917, given that The Somme was the year before, anyone would have felt envious about going to the front.

Mr Molesely is trying to ingratiate himself with Anna it seems, now that Mr Bates is out of the picture.

Mr Molesely fancies his chances with Anna.

Carson seems a bit out of sorts

Lady Edith is turning her hand to tractor driving.
