Yes, what is it about Wynne doing the rumba that makes people queasy? Both Katya and Wynne were very positive about it on their bit on ITT yesterday. I am not keen on rumba myself, but we shall see!

I see that Oti is joining the forthcoming line up for I'm a celebrity, along with Coleen Rooney, Danny Jones, Richard Cole, Melvin Odoom, and Maura Higgins, whose name I keep seeing recently on Strictly related gossip. Never watched a single episode, but I love Oti, and I think it will be hard for her, Marius and her baby having to be away!

RainbowRuthie agreed with a comment which mentioned him having been "handsy" (the furore a few weeks ago when he had his hand round her waist and she pushed it away) - I imagine this is what makes her uncomfortable - that a pro has to be in close proximity in an intimate number that's meant to be sexy with someone who allegedly lacked boundaries.

Me, I think the whole thing was them both dicking about - her deliberately not high fiving to shade him, him deliberately moving his hands to make her corpse but the only two who really know intentions are them as things caught on camera/put in a Tiktok/tweeted don't always convey the reality.

Oh and the ageism comment from fags, I guess was down to Wynne being 52 to Katya's 35. Again, I don't personally see a 17 year gap makes a massive difference in a rumba but she didn't do a rumba with Ed Balls did she?! He's 57.
Ange Rippon aside, I'm trying to think of an older female sleb doing a decent rumba with a younger pro. It wouldn't make me personally queasy, it's a dance ffs, but I do recall Vorderumba was unsexy and Carol was only 44. It's a dance you need to feel comfy in. Ester Rantzen (and Anton) also didn't.
I remember Flavia and Louis being criticised by some - as she came across like his mum - their rumba was a tango-fusion I think.
I don't think all older slebs look like lotharios or cougars - that would be daft - but the partnerships need the chemistry or similar ages. I'm not sure a rumba between Bobby and Dianne would have worked either.
I'm looking forward to seeing what Wynne and Katya make of it.

Not the best example in the light of what followed but Amanda and Gio did a good one to Out of reach. His and Debbie's was also decent.

Anton and Katie Derham's was good - also to Shirley Bassey but different track - only 4 years between them though.

James Jordan was capable of getting a good Rumba out of his more mature lady partners. Cherie Lunghi and Pamela Stephenson were both good IIRC.
