She’s very likeable, just comes across as a really genuine person who’s been having the time of her life!

Tess calls her Pun-nam but am sure Craig and Motsi called her Poo-nam when saving Shayne. That's pretty shocking that the judges hadn't been taught how to say her name properly.

Her husband is a Tory MSP, which is probably why they haven't stuck him in a training VT.

Gutted for Punam and Gorka. I love them.

I have to say though I loved the drama of Nancy and Shane’s dance. A gorgeous piece of music (an favourite of mine) and an interesting idea.

I’ll not lie. I was torn.

I agree that Tess looks amazing. So does Claudia. I much prefer Claudia with red lipstick though.

I don't think the costume with the volume of hair blending with the volume of the black top really helped Punam.

It's a shame she's out, I've enjoyed her, but I wasn't expecting the judges to favour her in a dance off with the scores and critique they've given her in recent weeks.

The next few dance-offs are going to be a very open field!

I think Claud looks far better in her Traitors outfits than most of what she wears on Strictly

I hope Amy is well enough to continue with JB. It would be a shame if she has to withdraw.

Yes that's more or less exactly what they do for the Judges Debrief. Apparently they used not even to do that and the audience just had to listen to it and squint at two tiny monitors up in the rafters (which is what happens for the post-dance chat during the main show).

Cricketer Ashley Giles was nicknamed the King of spin. For his testimonial match someone ordered mugs with this on but when they arrived they were printed King of Spain. Perhaps Anton is in exile along him?

I would imagine Lauren would stand in with JB if Amy isn’t well enough at the moment. I think he could do really well with Lauren. She’s a great choreographer.

Indeed, especially if there are going to be as many ties like this weekend. I mentioned earlier that it was actually mathematically possible for Jamie and Tasha to have ended up in the dance off if he was least popular.

Yeah they do that every year on Halloween week (for as far back as I can remember anyway)

We went a couple of weeks ago.

Musical act was pre-recorded after the main show and before they started announcing the results.
Pro dance had been recorded in front of a completely different audience a few weeks before.

Everything else was recorded pretty much "as live" except that they did a few retakes of bits of the chat with the saved couples and the judges' chat.

Long long day.

It’s very open now but the public seems not to like Shayne and Nancy. It’s a shame because they’re not inferior to Sam/Nikita and Wynne/Katya. They obviously haven’t clicked with the viewers.

I think that if Amy isn’t well they should ask Lauren to step in. Is there anyone else? How likely would they be to ask an eliminated pro…

Someone up-thread has given a good overview of his career. His music isn't my cup of tea, but there's no denying he's influential.

Sad Punam left. Would have preferred Wynne or Shane to go. I think she needed one more good dance to cement her following but perhaps she just didn't have the time to practice enough.

I guess it would depend on whether Lauren was available or whether she'd made other arrangements when she was told she wouldn't have a partner. Karen would be the other obvious possibility. Luba and Nadiya are a bad height fit.
