I wish they’d revert to the old way of doing the elimination on the same night. This whole waiting 24 hours to what is evidently a recorded bull shit show with Tess and Claud referring to yesterday and today etc is just rubbish.

Yes I agree totally. Others on here have made the (fair) point that it might be difficult for the very young and elderly to stay up for it. But all things considered I think it would be more entertaining and punchy, and allows less time for spoilers if they do it on a short delay if they don’t want to do it live for whatever reason.

TitsInAbsentia · 29/09/2024 18:10

I'm watching now...I have no idea if Tom was any good there as I couldn't take my eyes of Nadia's bottom...peachy!

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 29/09/2024 18:14

One of my main bugbears for Strictly is the Sunday results

That and music not matching the dance and the fucking round with props and theming, just fucking dance.

LetsHopeSo · 29/09/2024 18:51

I gave my 3 votes to Toyah and Neil, I like Neil so would like them to stay another week at least. I thought Paul was worse, he just seemed to mainly walk about the floor with a few shuffles about!
I think the standard seems to get higher every year so someone who is obviously a beginner really stands out.
I think it's unfair on the others as well when there is obviously someone who has had dance training although they usually don't win.

RenoDakota · 29/09/2024 18:55

I always look at 'The Strictly Spoiler' on Saturday night / Sunday morning. Don't worry, not giving anything away here.
It does away with the ordeal of watching the mind-numbingly tedious results show on Sunday.

We have a spoiler thread where we discuss it.

Ah, haven't seen that. Thank you!

I've felt very emotional watching Chris McCausland last week and last night. I was worried before how he would be not being able to see Dianne or the dance floor but he is incredible! I'm not a huge fan of Dianne normally but she is doing a brilliant job.

Don't know if it's been mentioned but my children watched a show when they were young on Cbeebies called Me Too. It was filmed in places near were we live.
Chris was in it, he had a fruit and veg stall. Also Miles Jupp and others!
It brings back lovely memories of us all watching it!

CrushingOnRubies · 29/09/2024 19:15

Sorry was out last night

But all caught up

Think the football player is leaving, I liked Chris, Jamie and Sarah

KimberleyClark · 29/09/2024 19:16

Gosh Tess’s arms are thin!

TheOnlyLivingBoyInNewCross · 29/09/2024 19:16

Tess’s arms 😱

TennisWithDeborah · 29/09/2024 19:17

I think it’s the sleeves.

BehindTheSequinsandStilettos · 29/09/2024 19:18

This is enjoyable

I agree

GrouchyKiwi · 29/09/2024 19:20

Yes, Tess's sleeves make her arms look extra tiny.

My DD nearly hyperventilated when she saw Craig's ridiculous get up.

That was one of the better pro dances of late.

the80sweregreat · 29/09/2024 19:20

It's very game of thrones !

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 29/09/2024 19:20

Madness. Why is Craig there as the Cowardly Lion?

BehindTheSequinsandStilettos · 29/09/2024 19:20

Craig looks like Tom Neuwirth (Conchita Wurst)! Grin
