Apologies if there is already a thread on this. I've just seen an advert saying this is back on ITV at 9pm tonight. I really enjoyed series 1. I guess this will be difficult as the parents will know that their kids are watching them? I'm interested to see how they change it up.

Yeah got to Ep 4 and it’s tedious af. Might just skip to the last one.

I've fallen behind. Watched about 15 minutes of an episode last night, the one where the date was an outing to the seaside I think, didn't get that far as something else was going to be on so I bailed. Not sure if I'll bother going back to it now to be honest.

Maybe they need to 'couple up' l(not force them to sleep together tho!) ike Love Island and bring new people in if there are no connections.

Yes or like a PP said maybe speed dating or just more dates in general.

prwtty boring and not really likeable contestant’s. Kids seem more likeable and interesting than the parents. David and Vicky not suited at all, does he have orange teeth? So disappointed with this series

I haven't watched the first series. Is that worth a watch? This one seems a bit flat but started well.

I would love to be friends with Maria and Andy. I think after a few they would be hilarious.

Halfway through and it is quite dull. I think they are hyper aware that their kids are watching in real time. I find it fascinating that these average looking men are all going for Vicky and the new woman. Maria is lovely - really fit and funny and looks great as well. But they are going for looks over personality- have they learned nothing ?! 🙈

The way Vickys daughter looks at David on screen I don't think she'll give her blessing. Poor bloke seems he can't do right for doing wrong.

I'd go for personality but I'd have to have a sexual spark with them or it's pointless.

I think this is a me thing! People become more attractive (or not!) as you get to know them. You see so little personality in many of them that I don't know how you'd ever feel a spark 😆

I feel the same, someone who's otherwise a good fit for me becomes more attractive in every way. I couldn't be with someone who was sexually appealing but had nothing to back that up. I guess if the physical attraction didn't come then you have a good friend.

I said above I was going to ditch the show, but I did watch and actually it grew on me. I like the man to man, woman to woman and child to parent chats and the fact that there is some opportunity for relationships to develop whether that be friendship or romantic. I'd watched some of MAFS UK so I think the pleasantries were a welcome change from the toxicity.

Yes I think that was lovely re. Everyone making friends in lovely surroundings. Pretty much everyone said they wanted companionship and talked about how lonely they were. I suspect that some of them live close enough then friendships and maybe more will develop naturally.

I had to see this through but omg that was the most cringe ending ever. Just felt so fake and awkward, literally every word and every interaction. The parents were all so stilted and there was no chemistry whatsoever. Won't be watching this again

I was very surprised when they said at the end about applying for season 3. I would have thought they'd call it a day after this one. The only reason I can see anyone wanting to go on it now is because they want to be on TV.
