The series follows the Morgan family as they try to move on one year after the disappearance of a family member (Annabelle). Jo, Tamzin and Angela play three sisters-in-laws Beth, Sylvia and Natasha, as they attempt to piece together the shock disappearance of their other sister-in-law, Annabelle, in Malta.

So was it Frankie that has Luca's brother hostage? But why if they believed Annabelle to be dead? Unless Frankie knew Annabelle was alive?!
So none the wiser after six episodes apart from Annabelle being alive 🤦🏽‍♀️

I can see a second series is being teed up but I don't think there is a second series in it.

Well that was disappointing, so many loose ends.

Luca seemed happy to meet Frankie

Who gave him back the chips (but not all of them)

And said finish the job I told you to last year

Seems suss that Luca shagged slyvia - wife of one brother - and gave the chips to the wife of the other brother - knowing the husband of the third sister in law /wives was the person who paid him

Well that was six hours of my life I’ll never get back. And the “port” was a touristy fishing village. Please don’t let me get drawn into another series.

Having Christine Bottomley in the cast as Annabelle made me work out she was still alive right from the start. Unless there were going to be extensive flashback sections. Which there weren't, so they wouldn't waste Christine Bottomley by casting her to be a corpse!

I thought the actress playing Annabelle was miscast, she didn't look much older than Jade.

They ruined the ending with her setting up Charlie, and what mother would do that to their own child! And they all accepted her story without question and Beth seemed to not have a problem with her shagging her husband. Glad she pushed Annabelle in the pool in the end, I wanted Skye to slap her and give her a few home truths.

Where did Jade go when they were all playing happy families with Annabelle at the end?

Thing is, Series 1 was so slow and plodding I'm not really sure it has any legs for a follow up.

If they wanted to develop further they should have limited this first series to 3 or 4 episodes maximum and actually produced something better than this.

I was irritated with the slowness of it all. Then am further irritated that they didn't tie it all up and close with explanations of various things that didn't make sense.

I just don't think it was strong enough or worthy of a second series.

I found it slow too and it required me to suspend too much disbelief.

I found it slow, it had plot holes and poor dialogue, some of the acting was poor and I still watched it all and will probably watch the next one as well 😁

I said this to DD right at the start when we fleetingly saw a photo of Annabel. They wouldn't waste a good actress on a photo, so I knew she'd be alive!

Yup, they are glitzy but a bit weak. I'm impressed that they have some well known actors though. It's easy watching, no brain power needed at the end of a long day 😊

Did sean gamble the money away and want to kill annabelle to get her money

Blames Charlie to get the company

Did he want to kill annabelle due to sky being his daughter and not tell his wife

Why choose Luca to kill her - what hold did he have over him

Where did annabelle get the money to pay Luca double what his other offer was

Ans Jade - she seemed really nice

Charlie seems to like her

Yes he was unfaithful but he obv decided money wasn't enough and assume was going to divorce her

Another reason why sean was going to kill her to get the money /business where if annabelle did divorce him there would be no money and business wouid fail

I thought that was shite. I def cba with a series 2 if they do one. Massive let down last episode

Totally confused by the ending. The gambling chips were in the box in the cupboard so what was in Frankie’s bag. And who the hell was in the van. The police? Jade?
