At this stage it would be hard for Emma to see it, she is very into Casper/the experience. She also doesn't know anything about him and we are seeing an edited version that highlights his feelings especially as he is talking about to the camera, she isn't hearing those bits. I also think it could come across as him being nervous or respecting boundaries i.e the non kiss etc

He hasn't admitted to living in a stripey tent and driving a clown car yet, it could be worse.
